Andre & Steve... this is not the place for you two to debate. No one else cares.
<<back on topic>>
I like the challenge of how the schedule might be shaping up for next season. Yes, a solid challenge, but plenty of chances to get some quality wins and make a stout case for an at-large bid. Even with a smaller lineup.

Not that I can recall, but yer name I'm sure has come off my keyboard b4. From a December 1 post on the MWC Board...Obsessed? __________________________________________________ Posted 01 December 2010 - 03:25 PM DreadLocksed Lobo, on 01 December 2010 - 03:22 PM, said: I can't help but wonder where say, oh SDSU would be this year if they didn't have their top 5 sophomores and their top 5 freshman, and no more than 2 1st or 2 2nd year JUCO transfers. Seems many don't know or choose to ignore that fact that UNM has had to cope with 5 fewer recruits the last 2 years (with on more year of limited scholarships), and essentially no junior college transfers these last 2 years due to penalties imposed by the NCAA resulting from recruiting shenanigans by a couple of Rocky Long's assistant coaches in his last year at UNM. Locksley then made some strategic decisions to offer some of his limited scholarships to top caliber transfers who have had to sit out this year. I fully support Locksley getting at least 1 more year if not 2 to get his players - highly regarded recruits AND transfers on the field and producing. ___________________________________________________ AndreAztec responds... Hold on. I've got SteveAztec on the line. You two should hang out. ___________________________________________________ Wow. One FITTING post referencing you, from a month ago (probably the only one ever- but I'm sure you can find out). Glad yer on top of things over there. Just who is the obsessed one? BFD

Much ado about nothing as far as i'm concerned. And I too like the schedule, just not all the question marks with our team next season.

I happen to like the guy and am not debating him. Is everything ok in your life? You have been a little edgy for about 4 months. Relax. Enjoy life. It is great to be an Aztec fan.

USC will play San Diego State in each of the next two seasons, once at the Galen Center and the other time on the road. "the other time on the road"- does that mean Viejas, or just not Galen Center? If @ Viejas, this is great news. Reading that article it sounds like they're coming to Viejas to me. Very nice! Sounds like they have a hard time saying Viejas Arena!

Never thought I'd be saying this, but here goes: Kudos to USC for stepping up and accepting the challenge.
Memo to UCLA and Stanford: Ball's in your court (pun intended).

It all depends on Leonard...if he comes back this is another NCAA-type team and the schedule already has 3 Pac 10 teams and the 2 top Big West teams. Otherwise I think it could be a NCAA Bubble, likely NIT-type team. For one thing, no BYU or Utah next season and add Boise St. instead. So two less MWC games and I would assume two more non-conference games.

Just as long as they don't schedule anymore games at that dump arena at the South Point. The hotel was great, the arena(which smelled like horse pee)and officiating were absolutely the worst!

So two less MWC games and I would assume two more non-conference games. Be interesting what happens if for whatever reason Leonard does stay, he may have to play the 4 then Argument for him sticking around: The opportunity to raise his draft status, because if he does stay, then he'll undoubtedly be THE MAN next year. He's obviously tremendous right now, but if he doesn't have a great game, it doesn't necessarily kill the Aztecs' chances of winning the game; there's always someone able to step in and pick up his slack this year. Malcolm Thomas and Billy White, and to an extent Brian Carlwell, make this a well rounded TEAM. Arguably, if he comes back next year, the team will be much more heavily dependent on Kawhi's performance given that we don't know who will be filling the other two front court positions, and we don't know how they'll play. So if he comes back and dominates, it only increases his draft stock into certain lottery pick status. On the other hand, if he comes back and DOESN'T dominate, then it could hurt his draft status. It's a bit of a gamble, and it will largely depend on his desire to stay in school.

Is there a way to tell if we have any tourney's scheduled next year.
Preferably ones that take place in a basketball arena?
