Agree that I was not too excited about playing Navy in a bowl... but I'm happy we end the season on a good note.

That's what I say! The only thing we have suffered from is poor coaching and talent, underdeveloped talent, little or no determination, and poor attitude. Much has changed now that Hoke has taken charge of the football team. It has carried over to other sports, or has been emphasized more lately in other sports. We are starting to see the results now, and will continue to see benefits as long as the coaching remains good. Go Aztecs!!!

If Hoke leaves for Michigan will there be a curse then? I suggest there will be lots of curses.

Thanks for devoting a whole thread entirely to me, brokencurse ;D A year and a half ago I changed my handle from pipedream to brokencurse. I said within 2 years we would win a bowl game and go to the sweet sixteen, because I knew with Fish and Hoke that the curse was broken. Thank you for allowing me this AztecTom moment to pat myself on the back and say told you guys! Signed, BROKENCURSE

The only people who blame curses for failure are losers to begin with. Fact.

Uh, there NEVER was a curse. It's called making up excuses for losing. ...it was the "bobbie bowden curse" since he was throttled by the Aztecs in 1977, and was given the bowel game over the winning Aztecs Now he has left football, and the curse is gone. HAM

I notice Zuma played more of a secondary roll at the game. Hmmm, could it be that your buddies are getting the message?

Not only did we have a wining season, win a bowl game on national TV with great style against a good team, we are no longer scheduling BYU . While "the Curse" may be over, perhaps "the Don Coryell Blessing" is also upon us?
