That would be embarrassing. More embarrassing than when we rushed the court after the nit win against santa barbara? Well, I didn't and you apparently didn't either.

Of course you do.
You're celebrating a BOWL WIN that hadn't happened in 41 frickin years. It's not about who the opponent is.
Who cares if others don't understand the reason for the celebrating.

My initial reaction was no way, but upon further review ..,why the hell not? If the fans are that excited and I hope they are -- GO FOR IT ! Sounds like fun.
to steal a line....if it makes you happy , it can't be that bad!

Okay, I think I count 6 who will rush. I will be the seventh. Seven of us rushing the field won't be an embarrassment to the school because security will catch all seven pretty quickly and it'll be over before anyone notices.

I'll rush the field if saztec and Zuma lead the way hand-in-hand!

Hey, I have never rushed a court or field. Just not my thing. But if you don't rush a field in your first Bowl Win in 41 years (regardless of the opponent), there would never be a reason to rush the field. There aren't to many teams in College Football that haven't won a Bowl Game in 41 years. There are lots of people around the country who think SDSU is a "not ready for prime time mid-major school", but others probably have doubts about that. Why not rush the field after a fairly meaningless bowl game win over a so-so opponent and remove all that doubt?

We're doing it because of the 41 years we haven't been able to. If the "others" don't get it, who gives a s**t.

Can we save the field rushing for when we clinch our first conference championship? Rushing a bowl game is dumb, we are at least supposed to pretend this is a neutral game.

Yes.Rush the field! The 10 or so here that want to rush (whatever their rationale behind it might be) the field will provide the rest of us with some insight of how Neil Armstrong must have felt when he walked on the moon.Let the mass rush of humanity commence!

We "rushed" the court at the MWC championship game last season. Although it was more like a trickle down than it was a rush.

There are lots of people around the country who think SDSU is a "not ready for prime time mid-major school", but others probably have doubts about that. So, what you are saying, is, there are lots of lazy, stupid, jerks around the country who think only they have the ultimate opinion about the world...like the commercial for the Pose Bowel in Rasadena, "Can TCU play with the big boys of the big conference?". Brent-the-butt Humberger is rank. HAM

I don't like the tone of this thread. It presumes we've already won the game. Last I checked Navy had not conceded the game. Beware Aztec fans. Navy is not going to roll over for this one.
