I'm almost as interested in how many wins we get as I am to see if Lewis can reduce the amount of "coach speak" to a reasonable level and give sensible interviews. And to see if there is some way to get a microphone to those asking the questions.  I agree that this would be a big improvement - but to me the coach just has to win. If he wins he can do interviews in a language I don't understand - and give them while wearing only his BVD's. Lol - well maybe not that extreme but just win and a lot of other things can be forgiven. jmo of course Go Aztecs! |

I understand that a lot of the people here on AM would agree with the change you made. However, the only San Diego sports I care about are Aztec sports. The only world wide sports I care about are Aztec sports. I am also a SDFC (soccer) fan but this is the team's first year and I have been an avid SDSU athletics fan since the Coryell days. I think I can safely say that the Aztecs are really the only sports team I care about also. |

Rocky will always be the GOAT HC of my generation. Letting him walk without a clear plan outside of Hoke 2.0 was a huge error. But he did have his faults, and our ceiling was pretty clear with him - contend for MWC championships and get to bowl games. I don't think his approach on offense ever gave any of the fanbase a sense that we'd break through and become a top 15 program, or a NYE bowl team. His teams were some of the most talented SDSU ever saw, but the offense, namely the passing game, would tank us 2 or 3 times each season. But he got us through realignment (we should've stayed in the Big East and AAC in 2012) and a new stadium without any drop off in play. Coach A1phaFast is stepping into a hard job, esp. with how fragile the conferences appear and it seems like CFB are on the cusp of another wave of realignment. He needs to win and win now. |

Doe s the MW commissioner play much of a role in deciding what MW team goes where in Bowl games ? if so doubt she will be that excited to put PAC schools in better Bowl positions then MW schools better also make sure she can not fiddle with basketball I doubt it. The Bowls rotate their priority of choosing MW squads. I could see a scenario where the Aloha or NM Bowls pass over a PAC squad in favor of an MW squad this year. |

Just need 6 wins for a bowl & 2-2 in noncon & 4-4 in conference is very doable. Our D should be very good.

6-6 is possible! Wash St. Game n Cal game gonna b the indicators of the season as a whole. If 2-2 after No Illinois then might be fun year? Especially after last 2.
