If we keep it within 3 scores I'll call it successful.

I think we can compete in a lot of areas, but their def line vs our off line is a huge mismatch. Our blockers will really have to step up for us to have a chance. I'm worried about whether we can keep the QBs upright.

I think this is a game where AztecFast might come back to bite us. By the end of Saturday's game we didn't have the legs on defense to deal with Mateer. Imagine what Jeanty will be doing in the 4th quarter.
When Wash St played @ Boise, they were down 24-17 at the start of the 4th quarter, but Boise scored 3 straight TDs to put that away. Jeanty had 11 carries for 116 yards in the 4th alone. I wouldn't be surprised if things turned out similarly against us.

we wont stop the run, id take the points. You'd TAKE the points or LAY the points? Because if we won't stop the run, it's going to be very tough to cover.

As long as we're competitive and not get run over, that would be progress in my book. Boise State will power run and use up the clock, they'll force us to try to score quickly with our AztecFast offense, which is still a work in progress. Oldie Out

Jeanty makes every defense look like they're tackling a Make a Wish kid.
I hope the Aztecs can stop him

The Sooper Cooper <–> Jean Jeanty matchup should show who's who in the offensive backfield.

That's way too many points? They beat Washington State by 21 in Boise We lost to Washington State by 3 at home And we are playing in Boise, so if anything I think Boise will cover the spread. Boise has only lost one game this season, to #1 ranked Oregon AT OREGON! I mean Oregon beat Ohio State by 1 point, and Boise by 3 points. Boise has a legit shot of winning a national championship this year. So no. It's not too many points. It's a very generous spread.

Wouldn't be completely shocking. In 7 games he's averaging 196 yards/game. He's been over 250 yards twice. Add one big run to an otherwise 250 yard game and he's there.
