I figured that's what you really meant but had to reply to the literal post. ;-) I think we can pull out a win at Utah State as well, but you never know on the road. |

I went back to Las Cruces for the NMSU-UNM game. UNM is a bad team this year. They have a decent offense and a QB who can throw the ball if he gets enough protection to set up in the pocket, but they have zero defense. NMSU is the opposite - decent defense especially against the run, but you can burn our secondary if you have a QB who can throw the long ball. Bad offense. We have three very good RBs but no QB who can throw and no receivers who can catch. Our awful offense easily hung 40 points on UNM's awful defense. If it wasn't for a couple key penalties and two TDs being called back we would have beaten them. Their QB burned us deep on a couple of third and long plays at critical moments, but in both cases he had about half an hour in the pocket and eventually someone got open against our bad secondary. Bottom line is they're very beatable.
