Did anyone notice in the Ziegler article this week that Miles Byrd was listed as a RS-Soph? He played like 2 games in his true freshmen year but the basketball rules are
different than the football rules and last year he was listed as a sophomore. Did I miss this or did he put in for it and get reviewed by the NCAA? It would be great to
have him for 3 more years but I doubt that will ever happen with NIL. I thought he would put in for this after his senior season going for the medical RS. Thoughts?

How much of a payday bump are the boys going to get from the Players NIL tournament?

If they divide it 15 ways, it's about $67,000 each.

It is what it is.

If they divide it 15 ways, it's about $67,000 each. Double that when they win it. Money is one hell of a motivator. On second thought, isn't that money given to the Schools NIL Foundation ? If so, they control how it gets distributed. Throughout the entire network,or strictly for the basketball program ?

As I understand it, the $ goes to the players.

As I understand it, the $ goes to the players. Man, if that's true then the players will be focussed on the coaches' instructions, for sure. Money talks. Without the money at stake, it would probably be like a cut above a scrimmage. LOL
