the SDSU Men's team voted to come in 4th place . BSU with 3 returning starters (or maybe 2 and the additional starting transfer Cardenas from San Jose ) was as expected voted to finish in First Place - Per Dutcher the team with the most returning MW starters is likely to be voted the highest( BSU ) . The Lobos and Nevada do have 2 remaining starters as well
BSU's Degenhart (sp) is expected to be Player of the Year - Nevada's transfer Sanders voted Newcomer of the year - beating out SDSU's Boyd - SDSU's Compton as Best Freshman - even though Dutcher has commented that MG with his red shirt season to learn the system might be even better at the start of the season. Per Zeigler Taj has been the most consistent of the Freshmen in practices .
