3-3 ( should have been 4-2 ) heading into a bye week. The team is doing a great job considering all the injuries. We are going to get smoked the next 2 games but a 6-6 record is a real possibility. If we make a bowl it will be a really successful season.

To me, the O-line has been the biggest issue. Injuries haven't helped.

Still don't know why Lewis switched kickers ? I think I read it was because Lopez looked better in practice ? but our kicker has been making a good % in games all year.

I said it last week, we have better players sitting on the bench that haven't gotten their opportunity. Injuries have forced Lewis to play the back ups.

Can you make a list of which players should be ahead of those starting? Funny, I recall people saying the same thing last year when Browning was doing the placekicking instead of Plascencia.

Let's not get our hopes up yet. We will be prohibitive dogs in three of the next four.

That’s funny, given people were saying JTA should be starting

To me, the O-line has been the biggest issue. Injuries haven't helped. Oline is a challenge, Play Calling is more predicable than Dave Lay. Horrific.

I'm confused by this comment, SDSU's most productive offense was during the Dave Lay years? We had some fun games, unfortunately our defense was below average during that time. Dave Lay's firing came out of nowhere, since SDSU was in the top 10 for total offense every year he was OC. I personally felt like Luginbill thought his job was on the line and Lay would have been the natural successor.

I think the writer might be thinking of Horton not Lay.

Never understood why Luginbill fired Dave Lay but kept Barry Lamb when the offense was killing it and the defense was horrific. It seemed like it had to be personal.

Man… I used to work for the athletic department as a tutor and got to tutor economics for Marshall, Az, Ephraim, Kyle, LaRoi, etc. Our defensive talent level was amazing… Lamb was an idiot…

To me, the O-line has been the biggest issue. Injuries haven't helped. Borjon injury was a killer It certainly hurt and we came into the year with not a lot of depth. One big positive is that O'Neil has good pocket presence and seems to sense pressure and avoid it.

Evidently, O'Neil doesn't read this board or he would have known he shouldn't throw deep anymore since it wasn't working. Either that or he doesn't listen to the experts on here. If the latter is true, then that is just unforgivable.
