OMG ... another wide zone run with Cooper for a huge loss. Definitely insanity. Then he runs another bizarro bubble screen where the receiver comes in to where the linemen are, 5 yards deep and is smothered again for a big loss. Lewis continues to repeatedly call plays over and over that aren't close to working, that get stopped for losses every time. He's a TERRIBLE play caller. Especially for an offensive "guru" 🙄 He is not getting any better with game planning or play calling which are the bulk of the OC responsibility. |

That receiver screen ain't working Lewis. They are so weird. I've never seen those kind of bubble screen where to receiver is practically where the original backfield was when he makes the catch. Surrounded by defenders. Why would that every work? Yet he calls it repeatedly. The WR gets a catch for -4 yards every time they run it! |

This is a competitive game, and it's fairly exciting, but that's only because both teams are so bad that it's evenly matched.

Not to defend Lewis, because I have struggled with him in many ways, but switching from a power football, run first, eat time offense to this quick spread has to be tough because we probably have teh wrong players to do it. I will give him a semi-pass this year but it has to be better next year once he gets more of his players in.

He is stuck on trying to run his offense but we don't have the players to do it and is not adjusting to what we have. |

She more interested in looking at ways to virtue signal ... like getting rid of the Aztec Warrior. JD isn't much better given the unnecessary Hoke extension and hiring Lewis. He's made other bad hires as well. |
