How do you know that when nobody else even gets a chance? Sutton had a 5.2 yard average last year on a horrible offense. Maybe give him at least 5 carries a game?? I should have said: "I believe he is the best option that we have!" Also, because I believe the coaching staff isn't intentionally throwing games. Of course they arent, but Lewis is running Cooper into the ground. Heβs a smaller guy, too. It will be amazing if he makes it a full season at this pace

Why is it that you think someone else on the roster can do better? Just because nothing is good enough for them and they have to find something to be negative about because it fits their narrative that Lewis was a bad hire. Nah it not the narrative. Lewis staff has a bad eye for evaluating talent or they daddy balling it. From the beginning of the season I was amazed that we had a kicker go to 3 different colleges and had less than five kicks in his whole career earn a starting spot. Burned us last week and pretty much ended the season early. Then we went back to the guy that should of started in the first place and made the same distance field goal we missed last week. Look at my previous post. Hate to say it but at this point every time we have an injury it actually benefits the team. At least then daddy ball Lewis will be force to play them. You never know the next Josh Allen is sitting on the bench right now.

Versus his competition level he is. What would be an acceptable YPC to you... running behind the worst O-line in the country, running right up the gut against a stacked box? You don't run a 5'-6" back up the middle, that is why you need to run Lucky, 6'-1" 212lbs. up the middle. Cooper is listed at 5'-8" 200lb, he doesn't weigh 200 pounds with a 25lb plate on his back! Against Central Mich Lewis ran him three times up the middle in the Red Zone and got a total of four yards. Then the missed FG. If Cooper gets hurt, then Lewis will have to use Sutton or Armstead and they haven't even had any reps thanks to Lewis. Last year the complaint was that Christon didn't move the pile and he is a bigger back than Cooper. If Christon didn't get hurt, he should have been the starting back. He has top speed, unlike Cooper, and a bigger back. Cooper should not be running up the middle, especially if the O-Line is rag-tag, get him outside the box.

How do you know that when nobody else even gets a chance? Sutton had a 5.2 yard average last year on a horrible offense. Maybe give him at least 5 carries a game?? Itβs called practice. Have you been attending those? I hate this argument. So you're saying coaches never make any mistakes because they see what goes on in practice? Kurt Warner never would've even gotten a chance had Trent Green not gotten hurt.. but the coaches saw them both in practice all the time

Because he is the best option we have! How hard is that to understand? The grass is always greener and the other running backs are always better. π π€£ π how you resort to fictional arguments

I've never made that claim Mr King of False Arguments All I've done the entire time is talk about how his pedestrian production doesn't justify 100% of the meaningful workload. I've even said he deserves to start What I've also repeated and you've ignored is Cooper doesn't deserve all the carries he's getting So once again, Master of Deflection... why is it so crucial to you for Cooper to have 100% of meaningful carries?Because he is the best option we have! How hard is that to understand? π π€£ So basically in your mind, giving all the carries to a guy who averages 3.6 YPC vs FBS competition is the best option the team has? π Sorry, it took a while for me to understand your point. I just assumed this wasn't your first year of watching football. So I never would ever fathom anyone who watched the game would seriously believe rushing a guy who averages 3.6 YPC 100% of the time was a decent football strategy much less the best option a team has

He was riding the pine until TC Wright got injured in the first quarter against Pacific. Faulk was given a chance and ran for 386 yards and 7 TDs,. FYI, Faulk wasn't even running the scout team before that game, the rest is history for the HOF legend.

Maybe give him at least 5 carries a game?? On his very limited carries this year, he's averaging 5 YPC. But, according to some here not giving a guy averaging 5 YPC any handoffs is the best option the team has.

This is why they need to assist in keeping him as healthy as possible while also getting the other backs some REAL rep's, at this rate the wheels are going to fall off much sooner then later. Nobody is saying he is not the number one back but people are pointing out that he is getting an exorbitant amount of carries that will soo be detrimental to the betterment of the team* * MOW help me out here, Feel free to spice up this statement.

Lmao π€£π @ this gaslighting Go make fictional narratives elsewhere What is fictional about his statement? I find it comical some of the anti-Lewis crap being tossed around on here. One even said it was "no wonder" Deion fired him. It's too bad JD Wicker didn't hire from Aztec Mesa. We seem to be teaming with coaching talent on here. Don't worry, CWAG, you can stay. We will let you off with a "warning" this time.

On the flip side of this argument... Cooper has averaged 250+ carries over the past 3 seasons. And the Aztecs have 2 bye-weeks this year. He's a 5th year Senior, run him into the ground.

He's just saying that coaches sometimes don't know what they're doing and don't evaluate talent well at times.
