At this point, Aztecs are truly scraping bottom. While there may be nowhere else but up to go from here, they could easily remain in this s_hole indefinitely.
Makes it hard to want to even consider giving them another red and black centavo when they come asking next season.
There are lots of meaningless football games played on Saturdays. Why should any of us be expected to pay a premium to watch the ones in San Diego?
Admit it or deny it at your own risk - it seems that AZZZZZZZZZtecs just became one of the Mountain West's Worst.

And O'Neil has an arm. He is getting it dialed in better with every game he gets to play. The defense had CMU staggering. The offense cut (most) of the dumb timing penalties out. The team fought well - but what happened in the 2nd half? They got boat-raced, and they had no answers. CMU just shut them down completely. Unfortunately, it's still a 60 minute game. But fortunately, there are still 8 more left to get themselves back in the AZTEC FAST win lane again. But as for today? They're still looking up at just about everyone else in FBS (1-A)... and that's at the bottom. |

Right now we have a talented but underachieving team. The Aztecs play hard, I’m still optimistic.

Just a reminder, Hawaii almost beat UCLA, final score was 16-13.
UCLA started this season 1-3, but their 3 losses are against top 25 teams (#23 Indiana, #13 LSU and #6 Oregon).
FYI, UCLA's football schedule is brutal now that they moved to the Big 10. Remaining games include #7 Penn State, Minnesota, Rutgers, Nebraska, Iowa, Washington, USC and Fresno State. I can see them finishing the season 2-10 or 3-9, can't help but wonder if they will have any buyer's remorse with all the conference changes they helped provoke with USC?
