So painful to listen to post game interview. Lewis is just a coach speak clinic. Said that he was just going for FG. So stupid. then you have to line it up for the kicker. Choice order of operations 1. Go for end zone on 3rd since there's no clock repercussions with the two minute warning 2. Run while lining it up for the kicker Anything else: "Whatcha doing there, little buddy? This decision-making thing sure is tough, isn't it?!?" |

Time for a real football game – Georgia vs Alabama. Why is it that whenever I see SDSU on TV, or even from the stands, they look like the size of high school kids and then you see these power conference games and these guys look like grown men, taller and better built physique. |

I'm seriously losing my confidence in coach Lewis. Cooper was totally ineffective today. If you take away that one 47 yard gain, he had 71 yards on 33 carries, a really sad average of 2.1 yards per carry. Some could argue Cooper is overrated, I personally think he is out of gas because he plays every down with what is supposed to be an "Aztec Fast" offense.
Sutton and Armstead should at least get 10 combined carries per game. Put Cooper's ego aside and give the kid a breather once in a while!
And also, where is Mekhi Shaw???

Also, why only Cooper? Why not gve Armstred and Sutton some carries - fresh legs may break some tackles. Like Copper fine but it seems odd that he gets 100% of the carries. Inexperience coach. Guy has his favorites but ain't playing his best players. He is not an offensive guru and this loss is on him. The defense won the game for him 3 times and still manage to lose. That was pretty much the season. He has nothing to lose from here on out. Anytime we are inside the 35 we are going for it. The loser mentality starts with the head coach. Three weeks ago he was in the opposite scenerio and decided to wave the white flag. |

I just want Lewis to not talk super fast and do stupid coach talk and really explain how he screwed this game up and what he will do in the future to not make crappy mistakes like this again. I thought the players played well. They did everything they were asked to do and played fairly mistake free. That gives me hope. I just need to hear accountability from the coaches, especially Lewis. They played well enough to win. Everybody except the kicker |

I could only laugh as the kicker's first miss was wide right from the middle of the field and wide left from the left.
Both kicks would have been perfect the other time 😂

We got a Coach Prime assistant. Next time let's try and find someone who is in the Saban/Meyer/Stoops/ lineage If I could have lunch with Lewis, I would give him the following advice. 1. Stop talking as if you are tony robbins on speed. 2. Stop playing up-tempo every offensive play. You can accomplish the isolation mismatch by just getting over the ball and then having the play called in from the sideline. You aren't tiring out the opposing D's, so control the clock. 3. Cooper is not a bell cow back sub in a back. Even with a 47 yard run, he averaged less than 3 a carry, without it less than 2. 4. Everything is too cute by half. Reverses in the redzone? RPO on 3rd and 8 in the redzone? Everything is too cutsy. Sometimes you need to be better them them and not trick them. Finally 5. Oneil was not right in the second half, he tweaked his knee and had no mobility, you need to practice what you preach, it should have been next man up. |

Wow, 1.9 YPC is even more pathetic, and coach just continues to do what he does. No adjustments, smh. |

WR Nate Bennett #11 seems to have pretty good hands why not throw his way a little more? |

I always advocate for time for new coaches. Problem is, there needs to be a little progress. Somehow it feels like Hoke's team was better. And that's saying something.

The amount of carries that Cooper is running is definitely working against him for the next level.

I just looked at some NCAA stats for total rushing carries. Cooper has 96 carries in his first 4 games (for 474 yards). The only player in the NCAA with more carries (first 4 games) is Kyle Monangai with Rutgers. He had 97 carries (only one more carry) but also gained 589 yards (125 more than Cooper).

I believe in Coach Lew long term, decent recruiting class coming in, need to add some impact transfers.
