Also, why only Cooper? Why not gve Armstred and Sutton some carries - fresh legs may break some tackles. Like Copper fine but it seems odd that he gets 100% of the carries.

Being Serious here,
Coach Lewis should return his game check, he did a terrible job and should be embarrassed to even think about cashing that check.
I was a BIG Coach Lewis fan all the way up to halftime of this game, I was even wondering what he had planned for half time adjustments.
I am now wondering what the hell is going on with his play calling and player usage.

I know Rocky and Brady were "boring" but I never thought they got outcoached. I sure hope Lewis can learn. Seems like he has an idea but does not look at the reality of what is going on. Stop only running one guy. Slow down when we need to use clock. Be aggressive on O.

If I were an Aztec Running back not named Cooper I would be putting my name in the Transfer Portal. Why burn a year if you are never going to get a carry ?

So painful to listen to post game interview. Lewis is just a coach speak clinic. Said that he was just going for FG. So stupid. 4 games in, I'm over him. I saw everything I needed to see today. He made 30 bad decisions in the 2H alone. Football purgatory. |

Cherry on top of that loss was how bad the CBSSN broadcast production was. There are high schools that live stream their games better than what we got and without cutting to commercial mid-game and losing audio for a half.

We have yet to see a well coached game, win or lose, this season. I hope Lewis and Co. can make a strong comeback, as we are rapidly sinking back to who we were in the pre-Rocky era.

Let's be clear. Our D is a little above average. Our O is passive. Our St is a disaster thank you to everyone that wanted to be entertained instead of winning. Thank you for showing you think having an offense means you can't have a defense. Stand by Hoke's house with a boom box over your head. He will make everything right. I'm all for having a modern offense. Mac and Cheese is running the essentially the same offense but only mixes in tempo. He controlled the top by and manufactured a win for his squad. He is running a gimmick offense, a 2-minute offense for all four quarters. I want competency, regardless of the offense. I think JD went this "innovator" because people want to be entertained. |

Lewis just said the he has to do a better job. Gee, I've never heard that before. "Gotta do the next thing the right way." Really? IOW he's admitting he's in over his head. Well I hate to say it, but Wicker blew it AGAIN. He overpaid Hoke and we're stuck with Lewis and his big contract. Nobody is going to hire him away so we have no choice but to suffer the consequences. Unfortunately ADT can't fire the AD and coach at the same time. |
