The two MWC affiliate boards were roasting Pac 12 for looking at the AAC schools. While I am really wondering the gameplan on getting a good 8th, this is a little bit of humor for my day watching those posters now spin this as a good thing.

The Pac needs to grab Texas St while they can... They need to ante up for Memphis. Their fanbase and potential is much more worth it than Texas State, even with an added cost to get them. |

MW shopping for two football programs from the MAC but those don’t help in their need for two more full time programs. They are trying to increase the total amount for their next tv deal while increasing the mouths they need to feed. Hoping the MAC schools will take pennies like Hawaii.
They are also shopping for basketball only schools to help with having 18-20 conference games because the programs they have left can’t afford to only have 14-16 conference games because they don’t have the money for non conference home games.

Is she bargain shopping at Goodwill? They have no money. They spent it all on a 3 win a year fb program along with a program that cant take kids from the portal and offer NLI.

The Pac needs to grab Texas St while they can... They ain't going anywhere. If people worry about "questions" with the PAC as a conference going forth, those questions are multiplied by 10 in the case of the MWC. No school is going to commit to a conference that just lost 5 of its best programs and is overpaying to keep the leftover 7 in line. If you are not UNLV or AFA in the MWC, you are getting screwed. |

Gloria Navarez paid 55 million dollars to a program thats only had (3) eight win season in the past 40 years and another program that cant recruit from the portal or offer NIL.

SJSU is going to love to travel to Toledo in the middle of winter for BB. At least some of those damn high-altitude MWC schools with have some added logistical stress traveling back East. Toledo is in the EST.

As much as I'd like to have a team in Texas, if Texas State or SJSU were the only choices, I'd take San Jose due to the easier travel and staying in our time zone. |
