Play me or trade me…
Probably no more question why New Pac X didn't offer up an invite to UNLV.

Maybe Lewis could promise him a Cooper deal when he can even flip off the opposing team and get left in the game We'll probably have some defections from the RB room after the next game to preserve eligibility Already have...

Home court advantage in the conference tournament. Not that it's done them any good. They were good in basketball before the internet was invented so there is that. And they were decades ahead of most schools when it came to NIL.

Not explicitly from the RB room but Brooks.

Same excuse/reason as their QB "Allen cited “opportunities” that “unfortunately were not met” in his announcement, which was similar verbiage as what Sluka said overnight Tuesday. However, Allen clarified his decision didn’t have anything to do with NIL and was strictly about “on-field opportunities” at UNLV. He arrived at UNLV after two years at NC State, and will have two years of eligibility remaining as a redshirt junior in 2025." Not the same at all. He's a backup RB that wants more touches. Not to mention the fact that UNLV has 2 big-time RB recruits coming in next year. He simply saw the writing on the wall. I wonder if those two big time recruits will still want to come to UNLV now?

Is there any accountability? Sheesh. It cost them 15 yards, and didn't make Lewis look very good by looking the other way.

And you're 💯 about this incident being a window in how Lewis holds his players accountable. Some guys like Phillips got pulled out of the game for a few plays for extra coaching after their non-football related personal fouls while stars like Cooper have a completely different standard with the staff. It makes Lewis look like offensive coordinator should be his peak

It makes Lewis look like offensive coordinator should be his peak I don't know if I've ever seen that, where a player doesn't get pulled for something as stupid as giving the middle finger to the opposing team. I was shocked that he was still in. Take him out for just a few plays, at least. You have some other good running backs to spell him. Bad mistake, and message. Hopefully he has learned from that, and will hold his players accountable going forward.
