I'm grateful for UNLV & wish them nothing but success. Expectations for opportunities unfortunately were not met & I am excited to continue my football career. This does not end well.

Same excuse/reason as their QB "Allen cited “opportunities” that “unfortunately were not met” in his announcement, which was similar verbiage as what Sluka said overnight Tuesday. However, Allen clarified his decision didn’t have anything to do with NIL and was strictly about “on-field opportunities” at UNLV. He arrived at UNLV after two years at NC State, and will have two years of eligibility remaining as a redshirt junior in 2025." Not the same at all. He's a backup RB that wants more touches. Not to mention the fact that UNLV has 2 big-time RB recruits coming in next year. He simply saw the writing on the wall. |

Maybe Lewis could promise him a Cooper deal when he can even flip off the opposing team and get left in the game
We'll probably have some defections from the RB room after the next game to preserve eligibility
