Who do you take as an 8th? If you can swing UConn fball and Gonzaga Olympics do you do that and hold firm until lit settles with pac and acc? UConn FB is desperate for a Conference. Perhaps the Pac could extract a Basketball Scheduling agreement ? Four to six OOC games against the top 6 pre-season NET Schools ?

Every conference needs a Vanderbilt, although Utah St. isn't helping the conference GPA, so what exactly are the Aggies bringing? So far the new Pac is just the MWC Part Deux. Ummmmm, a competitive Athletic Department ? They may not have a lot of curb appeal but they do bring paychecks into the Conference. Four NCAAT appearances in six years. Nine Bowls in 12 MW Seasons. The MW has several Legacy members who haven't achieved that much in 25 years.

The fact that it isn't the MWC is why I like it. Yep. They are cutting out the dead wood that has consistently been the welfare recipients of this Conference. UNM, Wyoming, UNR, Hawa'ii, and Sparty. While AFA does bring FB Bowls and respect as a Service Academy, their Basketball Net is a disgrace. They have been replaced with two Schools who are willing to grow, build, and invest their way to something better.

If UNLV does come on board we have a rarity in College sports today, a real D1 Geographic Conference. If you look at a map of the new PAC 12 (8) all states would be contigious. Is that even allowed anymore? Yeah, but you need to sacrifice a virgin to appease the realignment gods and they are hard to find nowadays.

What were you expecting, Utah and ASU running back? The goal is to take the most valuable schools available which is what the PAC is trying to do.
