Well, somehow we are still in this game. How can this team get so many penalties? How? Poor coaching...period. Schmidt was a great coach when he was here the first time. He just had better material to work with back then, I guess. |

Good thing I can't watch this one. Of course, the ESPN Gamecast isn't working, either.  Sounds like this team has a lot to work on. I still believe in this coaching staff - but they've got to get this team under control and create some discipline. That's laudable. I don't think that I do believe in this staff. Can't fault Johnson for the atrocious concentration on the OL. They are the ones who are blowing this up. Whether it's that they aren't ready, they aren't very good, they aren't FAST enough, or some combination of those things, they're the biggest anchor on this offense right now. Seems like a miracle whenever a play does get run successfully without another boneheaded mistake on the line.

Whether it's that they aren't ready, they aren't very good, they aren't FAST enough, or some combination of those things, they're the biggest anchor on this offense right now. Seems like a miracle whenever a play does get run successfully without another boneheaded mistake on the line. Holding is going to happen when the guy across the line from you is better, I get that. The constant false start penalties are inexcusable. |

This coaching staff needs to have a better understanding of where these players are at right now.
They need to walk before they run, slow things down and make sure everyone is on the same page.

We're looking like ass tecs on offense that should be ass tics. watch for an unbelievable come back in the second half. several kinder teachers were brought in to teach the o line to count to three, 8 out 10 times correctly. they will get gold stars on their helmets if they do it correctly 5 times in a row. |

Johnson doesn't have a real strong arm especially when throwing off his back foot. Maybe he should stop doing that, then. |
