I cannot stress this enough. This is announced attendance. If you want to spout off on turnstiles or buts in seats, then start your own thread and post your own results from your 70's counter. Otherwise pick your poison.

24,222 considering the season ticket sales numbers and first game novelty. Won't be the largest crowd of the year given the opponent.

I think attendance will slightly break the 25K mark (for the first half).

It’s supposed to be nice weather, so maybe the “Canopy Complainers” will come?

The day was beautiful for a football game. Facebook even marked me safe from extreme weather. It felt like they moved the lines more towards the eastside of the stadium. There was a-lot of room on the sidelines of the Homeside.

25,180 (announced). 18,106 turnstile. Allegedly. Yeah, no. Looked like MAYBE 15,000 if I'm being generous. Pretty much a piss poor look per usual. Heck the Beavers might bring more fans next week than were there tonight. Let's hope, eh? Their money spends just as well.

I think we'll have the actual bodies matching the announced attendance for Oregon State. Simply put, tonight's performance increased curiosity about this team.

SDSU should be reaching out to OSU and WSU and helping/working together with them to improve the game day experience for each other. SDSU needs to learn much more about improving the game day-experience in planning and marketing while also build additional bonds with these 2 Universities. This could be a serious win-win here in increasing the visibility of the still NEW Snapdragon stadium while also helping increase ticket sales. This could also work to building more of a bond with the new kids on the block in that SDSU/OSU/WSU are about at the same level of program right now. I am not saying they are equal but they are at about the same level when it comes to the next shuffle of conferences for teams trying to reposition themselves.

Well, SDSU if hadn't totally F¿€ked up the yellow lot yesterday, it might of improved the "GameDay experience "!?!?!?

What happened with the yellow lot? I parked there with no issue.

What happened with the yellow lot? I parked there with no issue. 1) They are trying to discourage tailgating by strict enforcement of single spot pop-ups in a half empty parking lot. I don't have a problem with the reserved parking at the park or the warrior walk for extra fee. 2) But, having warrior walk in the middle of the parking lot and blocking incoming traffic for 20 - 30 min from entering the easterly 2/3's of the lot was ridiculous. The brain trust that dreamed up these unforced errors are the same ones that " wanna increase the fan experience "? Missed on both!!! They didn’t announce or clearly state the new policy in the season ticket purchase site. You had to read between the lines in their rules and regulations. I ask about it at the luncheon and some didn’t know and some weren't sure. They did call back and confirmed. That indeed tailgating would different and enforced. They handed out a flyer explaining how your pop-up was supposed to cover half of your car or truck and be completely inside your parking space. Had security riding around trying to enforce the rule, then circulating back telling us that the people that reserved at the park/walk were complaining?? Complete s#!t show!! Kinda like Padres ruined tailgating at Petco.

Kinda like Padres ruined tailgating at Petco. Interesting. We have little need for tailgating/getting free junk at the gate/etc. So we arrived at 4:30PM. Getting in was simple, there was lots of parking close to the entrance/exit, and getting out - well that's always easy since Elvis already left the building long before the game's over (as long as it's not a KGB Sky Show game - which they've apparently given up on now). But for those wishing for a better pre-game experience, yes it sounds like they've managed to shoot themselves in the foot. AGAIN. Our "new" seat location - much better, even though it's just a few rows down and a few seats farther from the 50 yd line - at least renews some faith that the in-game experience will be better this year. Sad to hear that they continue to make things worse - by their crude attempts to make more money off fans.
