No, this makes perfect sense. For a long time I have worried about the Left's rhetoric aimed at Trump. I have been very worried that such language would cause some nut with a gun to believe that killing Trump would be justified in the cause of protecting democracy. But I was worried about whether such an attack might come were Trump to win in November. I now see I was wrong; somebody decided that Democracy could not wait until November.

Very much looked like it. Another idiotic take. Shouldn't have made a judgment based on the video and auditory noises. Fine to admit I was wrong, if the end result bears that out. Sources are saying it was a rifle from 200-300 yards away and Secret Service didn't vet the entire site. |

I get it that you'd want to make it out that I'm justifying it, because that's just simply who you are. The big difference? One is potentially criminal, and the other is not. Like I said in different posts, I don't condone what he did, and said in any of the scenarios. You have it wrong, AGAIN. He didn't say that to underage girls, meaning under 18. He said that at the Miss USA and/or Miss Universe contests. He walked in on the underage girls which is bad enough, but the quotes you're referring to were not to them. Get it right for a change, Mr. Spin. Just so this is crystal clear: His comments were TO the underage girls, bragging about how he had "seen it all before" from the Miss USA pageant. There is no distinction to be made. He has a history of walking in on women and girls while they aren't dressed. I don't know what else you want me to say. Ok, I just re-read it, and I thought Trump said "Don't worry ladies, I've seen it all before" to the Miss USA pageant ladies and not the Miss Teen girls. My bad. Misunderstanding. He said it to the Teen pageant ladies. Sorry. My bad. I was very upset, because I thought it was the other way around and you were making it out like I was ok with it. I get it now. Like I've said, it's not good either way, but a bit different if he's saying that to underage girls. NewsNation a short time ago put up an aerial showing where authorities supposedly found the shooter's body and where the stage Trump was on. I measured it on Google maps and got 455 feet which is about 139 meters. That distance was an easy shot with an M16 when I was in the U.S. Army. Trump is lucky to be alive if this is accurate, and it's an epic fail by the Secret Service.

Multiple media sources are saying it was glass fragments and not a bullet that struck Trump. Trump, on Truth Social, said he was hit by a bullet.
