Shocker!!! He should of been All Pro by now. And get back up place kicker in the deal. KC playing chess while rest playing checkers. Why Pads should sign Trevor Bauer.

Before you guys/gals decide to flame me, look at the choices these guys made, both should have known better and understood they live in a spotlight as athletes.

Regardless of his guilt/innocence, TB is a d-bag smack-talker, both on social media and the field. The Padres' chemistry looks good right now and TB strikes me as a club-house cancer (not to mention FTJ is just now starting to come out from under the microscope for his dumb mistakes). The Pads signing TB would be a horrible mistake IMHO. Big difference between TB and a standup AFL who made a dumb college mistake.

Before you guys/gals decide to flame me, look at the choices these guys made, both should have known better and understood they live in a spotlight as athletes. They actually don't. One was a college kid at a college party. Didn't put himself in any bad situation other than showing up to a party. Someone then falsely accused him of something. What Bauer did was completely different regardless of his innocence and misinterpretation of what he did and how it was spun. They are not the same. TB actually did what he was accused of whether she consented of it at the time and changed her story later for a money grab situation or not.

Araiza was exonerated, Bauer was not. The situations aren't remotely the same when you consider the pattern of behavior between both. Your second point is contradictory, considering Bauer has been out of and will continue to be out of Major League baseball. Nobody is looking past his track record of behavior.

Although I'm not personally a TB fan, I realized a long time ago, that sports( as in life?) it is about winning and money. And that there were and are many players, executives and personnel with questionable behavior, flaws and down right criminal and horrible people. There are too many to list. Some banned and some forgiven and some just tolerated. For the record, Trevor Bauer was never convicted, or even charged in these cases. So, sorta similar! Trevor Bauer is not suspended or officially banned by MLB, but probably unofficially black balled. Believe he's pitching in Mexican League.

49er Fan myself but I will watch The Chiefs now just to watch Ariza punt. Not an NFL fan myself. But I'll probably watch the Chiefs first game to see how he does. Also to see the new screwy new NFL kickoff rules.

Other than the fact I have to see the whole Kelce/Swift crap, I do like the Chiefs. I hope Matt has a great career with them and might tune into a couple of games next year to watch them. But, the NFL sucks as a whole.

The chiefs should put up canopies to shade the fans looking up at araiza’s punts
