An easy, no brainer to donate to our amazing, special, classy basketball program. Made even easier as I stopped donating to the university, and that will remain the case as long as ADLT is President and beyond if the next President is similar. Also pulled my planned donation upon demise from my estate planning as well. Excellent for MESA and our basketball program! Not so much for the University. Yeah, it’s a shame. I have loved and appreciated this university so much. I started donating pretty soon after graduation since I wanted to give back. Our President very quickly proved she doesn’t care about the alumni, our wishes, open dialogue. She’s more concerned with using her beliefs to unilaterally do whatever she wants. It’s gotten to be so much more than losing or keeping the Aztec Warrior… it’s the principle … and she has none. She’s an interloper that will NEVER be an Aztec For Life as far as I am concerned. You watch how Dutcher, and Coach Fisher before him have comported themselves and produced incredible - and thrilling- and classy results. Then you look at her, no comparison.

Hopefully we can get this over 10,000 by lunch today. That shouldn’t be hard since someone donated 5,000.

Besides, what SDSU prez in the last few decades has fully backed the Aztec Warrior? It's a game no president can win.

I think up-front full disclosure on what you're getting with your donation can also help boost MESA enrollment. For example, if you're an interested first-timer going to the website store this is what you see:
MESA store access to MESA Members or Donors Only. Once you join or donate, you will be sent an email with instructions on how to access which will include your redemption voucher based on your Membership or Donation Level.
Some folks like to know exactly the perks they get before donating. For example, the recent $75 Blender sunglasses deal was very well publicized and you knew exactly what you were getting for your $$$. Yes, I know that we should all be willing to donate, regardless of the "perks," but human nature is human nature.

I haven't been in to Aztec Shops in ages, but are they allowed to sell NIL merchandise? e.g. Butler's buzzer beater poster, LeDee t-shirts, hats, etc. That would be an ideal money making spot.

Should have its own thread so everyone sees it. This title doesn't do justice. We need to mention the 300K match.

Finally over $10,000. Next milestone for me is when we hit $25,000.

Wish the school would come out and promote this matching to some extent. There are hardly any rules with NIL anymore. The school cannot donate but they could certainly let all our alumni know about it.

As far as I can tell, when a non member goes to the store (or anywhere on the site) that information is not available.

are the radio stations or TV allowed to make announcements about the $300,000 match or even SDSU with emails
