As bad as the MWC has done in the tournament the SEC has arguably been worse. They've had much better seeds/more favorable matchups and are piling up losses. Tennessee is their only win right now and they have only South Carolina left I think South Carolina lost to Oregon last night? Only Tennessee left! Al so, we should absolutely beat Ye if we play Aztec defense and muck the game up. Ain’t one of those guys that has a thing for our physicality from Jaedon and Lamont on the ball. UConn is terrifying should we win Sunday They still have Bama to play as a 4 seed and Texas A&M is playing right now as a 9 seed. They had 8 bids and 7/8 have had the better seed 5 of those teams lost Kentucky 3 seed 1 and done. Auburn 4 seed 1 and done South Carolina 6 seed 1 and done Florida 7 seed 1 and done Mississippi St. 8 seed 1 and done Tennessee as the 2 seed only win so far. Ironic too when their Commissioner wanted to take away bids from smaller leagues since they couldn't compete. |

SDSU is like the responsible citizen who is constantly contributing to the tax pool. The rest of the MW are lazy welfare recipients who never deposit and only withdraw. Well said. Plus the Aztecs don't have the money like other teams that can fly Charter planes and they have to fly Commercial. Please someone here win the Billion Dollar Lottery to buy the Team a plane.... |

Looks like this conference will do their typical one and done thing again, if USU loses. With that dumb 20 game conference play we'll probably be the only one repping future MMs anyway. Just as well, this conference looks like fools gold because of their nonperformances. |

New Mexico playing with 2 left feet. Washburn throwing up bricks. This conference sucks "House of Tears, cry, cry, cry Jaelen" New Mexico 4-21 (second half) Mashbrick 1-11, House 4-14. House fouls out at 6:27. I've watched several Clemson games this year, they have some players who can shoot. Took them over favored NM. Their fan base can suffer all off season and look forward to another dismal FB season. Looks like Allick made a good choice going to Nebraska. |

so glad aztecs won. oh please, no more 1 for 12s or worse toward the end of a game. 50% would be wonderful. we don't need to have our collective blood pressure reach dangerous levels.

Sometimes it's good to win ugly. I feel UAB is a good team but the lights were way too bright for them.

Unfortunately he wasn’t versed in the art of getting even….legally It was dumb. He did it right near the ref and wound up up elbowed the guy for all to see. No discipline. |

The YALE coach should be yelling at the refs They would probably have T'd him up to decide it. That was some terrible officiating down the stretch, college basketball officiating is pretty ragged. It’s a really hard game to officiate well. That said it needs to be much better |

I would, my wife would probably have an issue … though she knows of my intense love of Aztec hoops. Plus, if you win a cool billion, you could buy the plane with the taxes you’d pay in CA … vs FL, TX, etc. |

Lamont and Jaden absolutely balled out. I thought DT played well also. Every time Jay Pal touches the ball, every muscle in my body tightens. And has Miles Byrd converted a single breakaway dunk or layup this year? Winston Shephard = Miles Byrd Good comp. |

Winston had a better handle, could play some PG or at least be the hub, was a beast on the boards, could play dominant D 1 through 4, could create his own a little, could get to the hole off the bounce. I could go on. Plus Winston was like 6’ 7” plus. Look I really really like Byrd. Heard him interviewed on 760 AM this week and now like him even more. His future is bright and he may ultimately go further in pro ball. So there might be some similarities, I don’t see him as a comp. |

Limited offensively but lean, long, and disruptive defensively. Byrd just needs to learn to also play in lower gears. |
