Nevada did the same thing we do when we're ahead by a lot and pressed: we start stalling way too early and we don't try to score when we have an advantage when the other team is pressing you in the backcourt.

I almost always pick against MWC teams not named SDSU in my bracket. I had done the same this year but made a last minute change this morning and went with Nevada and Colorado State. I should have known better, lol.

Dayton may have shot like 80% in the final 5 minutes. When they didn't make a field goal Nevsuxada fouled them. Hard to win when a team does that.

CSU has their work cut out for them today. They have a very slight advantage in that they've already played a Tournament game and won it. But Tejas is crashing the boards early and often - and it will likely spell success for them unless CSU can keep up.

Rams could have been up 14-2 if they'd have hit some pretty easy shots when Texas was bricking everything. Stevens is really sh*tting the bed in the Tournament, 2-11 with 5 total points in the two games so far.
I guess we'll be rooting for New Mexico and Utah State. I thought New Mexico would beat Clemson but maybe I'm drinking too much MWC Kool-Aid.

Damn, there sure is a great deal of smack talk on this forum the last couple of days. Boozie and Wolf Pack. We haven't played yet and I hope we can shoot tomorrow. Something about a glass house. I'm certainly not going to make any rude comments about our conference mates performance in this years tournament untill we've won a couple of games at least. |
