Dutch is NOT going anywhere, he will stay in SD. Dutch signed his extension a few weeks ago and I know he knew Howard was gone. Interesting that I heard Leitner interview Acker after yesterday’s game saying to him that a head coaching position is well deserved & at a bigger place than where Acker was a HC before. Acker was the HC at West LA College, before he became an an assistant at U of Hawaii. Acker may get HC job at a smaller school, a Big West School or WCC or Fresno State? Fresno probably wouldn’t take another SDSU assistant again seeing how Hutson didn’t work out for them. I could see Acker getting a strong look at the Long Beach job

Seems like former NBA stars are having a rough go coaching at the college level. Stackhouse gone, Pat Ewing gone, Howard gone, and Penny has to be on thin ice in Memphis. Then add in the fact that the previous Michigan coach Beilein didn't last a year in the NBA and it makes that saying about College guys being college guys and pro guys being pro guys ring even more true. Juwan probably has an NBA assistant job somewhere if he wants it, but who knows what comes next now a days. Dan Hurley is doing just fine. Brother might be in trouble at ASU

Looks like Dusty May is getting the Michigan job. FAU was going to lose most of their team anyway. He just signed a new 10-year contract with FAU after last year's Final Four. A $1,000,000 buyout was in that contract, which Michigan can find under their couch cushions. His salary tripled from $1.25M to $3.75M for 5 years.
