Quit throwing your money at spoiled prima donnas who have zero appreciation for what they are getting and have Support the Athletic Department, Support the University, not the Collective. Between Parrishs' cry baby post and the rumors I have heard about Saunders Mom blaming the fans,....... Screw them. I am done. 100% agree. Small donations are not the way forward in the NIL world and I don’t need some spoiled brats whining at us that we aren’t donating enough. Rather spend that money on my own family who isn’t gonna bad mouth me for not spending more on them.

We need a corporate sponsor, but we have yet to get one. Saying you're stopping a contribution to Mesa is like cutting off your nose to spite your face. I understand everyone's frustration; I'm also frustrated hearing this crap from these kids. But we need to support the guys we still have if we want to compete in the present.

I know I am preaching to the choir but it feels like a good time to bring to the top. If you have joined already post it on your social media to help get the word out. After Micah's since-deleted tweet I'm having a hard time donating any more $$$. Someone 30 years younger than me telling me I need to pony up more, so that they can make more in a year playing a ball game than I make in 5 in a profession that actually matters? Sorry, but I'm done for now.

You can easily make up the money you donate to NIL. 😂😂 This message has been approved by Kevin Hart and is not a paid endorsement

Honestly, I'm trying to cancel my recurring donations to both Link and Mesa. This isnt the college landscape that I enjoyed.

I saw on Twitter that there has been a boost in matched donations in recent days. Still, we have some locally based businesses that have the money to make a difference:
Jack-in-the-Box (they support the Padres) Qualcomm Cubic WD-40 Waxie Petco Sempra JMI Sharp Healthcare Scripps Health Autoliv Kyocera General Atomics

The match is going until May 15th I believe. For what it’s worth I believe when the Lamont news hit the donations were around ~$60k (maybe less). As of now it’s up to $96k and a couple major donations came in after Lamont/Saunders news. I get feeling disheartened but other fans are using it to get involved - as always donations come down to what you’re comfortable with.

The Azteclink one leaves me apprehensive From the FAQ on the website "What Percentage of Contributions Go to the Athletes? Aztec Link is committed to maximizing the revenue available for distribution to San Diego State student-athletes. While we must cover variable fees related to producing merchandise and products as well as our overhead such as IT, legal, marketing, and accounting, we will be distributing all of the money received beyond these expenses to the San Diego State student-athlete community. The collective board will continually review finances and expenditures to ensure funds are being distributed per the donor’s intent, and in ways that most benefit this community. The collective Board of Directors and Advisory Board are not taking any compensation." I do like Mesafoundationsd.org a more on its face reputable route to throw dollars to. I have been burned on certain orgs that put most of the donations into the overhead rather than the purpose. I don't want to bury Azteclink, but is there more info to vet this one better? Take a look at the folks on the Boards of the "Link". That should give you comfort as to the motives of those involved. Additionally, the fact that they are being transparent regarding the costs associated with running an organization should not be a reason to make someone uncomfortable. I appreciate it. I would venture to guess that most all have similar expenses.

Side note, MESA hired former Aztec Club Director, Caroline Ripley today as the Director of Operations. MESA is taking the next step forward with a very capable person who is well respected within the SDSU Community. Remember, “This is your team”!!!
