would guess that SDSU is quite pleased with the 6'5" wing they already signed so doubt they were still offering him a scholarship I estimate that NMSU, SJSU & UNLV, we're his final considerations. After Taj was offered and verbally committed around Aug/Sep, we leveraged Taj to get Pharaoh in October. I believe the staff de-emphasized Osborne, and therefore, his interest elsewhere picked up with other schools. We dont typically see the Aztecs stacking recruits in the same position. Transfers are different, we do try to fill holes, but with NIL we saw that was difficult with guys like Allrick, Washington, and even Keshad, players who wanted to get paid. Taj was always the first choice for the wing, Pharaoh has the highest ceiling in years, and David Majak, is a multi-year project as is Magoon Gwath. I think Shay coming into his 3rd year (2021 Redshirt, 2022 RS Frosh, & can he break the "9" this szn) has limited PT ahead. Like Keshad, Shay an athletic guy from the Oakland area, may not get much more time to develop, and will be the odd man out if Miles & Elijah stay the course, but they need to make room for Pharaoh, who may start as a Freshman. It’s so far down the road I don’t get too caught up in it… but MAN would I love to see a starting line with Majak and Gwath up front

little doubt that recruiting the guys that play down low is quite difficult - as they develop slower then guys that play other positions
In HS they do not always get to play against guys their own size so there is a big adjustment when they hit college
