It was such a beautiful play by Butler. He went to his right, and then dribbled between his legs and then went left for a pull up jumper, for the win. Nothing but net. A thing of beauty.

Lead for a total of zero seconds in the second half and win the game! Will remember that shot for the rest of my life!!! That's incredible if you think about. No lead at all in the second half, and then the dagger. I'm glad the roles weren't reversed, because that's gotta be hard to take. FAU controlled the action for just about the whole game, but not when it mattered most!!! |

Hearing the FAU announcer at the end kind of got me choked up, as something has always seemed to have prevented SDSU from ever getting this far in any sport (at least one we still have a team for). Could this FINALLY be the sport, and the year? We will find out in just under 48 hours. LFGSDSU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Though I'm sure heartsick after that loss, he gave full credit to State, saying "They won". No excuses, no bitterness, no, "buts, or ifs". |

And a follow up--I was in Morton's tonight having dinner with my Significant Other, and they had the game on in their bar.
I experienced the loudest yell and cheering I've ever heard in a place like that.
That made the meal even better than it was.
My girl friend was in tears. And so was I.
