I'm here, but was taken by surprise by the demise of Aztectalk. What is the story. The story is that nothing lasts forever. Even the giant redwoods die. Even great mountains eventually crumble into dust. Rivers change course and national boundaries are obliterated. Aztec fan boards are no different. Well, their shelf life is a long shorter, perhaps.  I intend to see this iteration serve the Aztec fan population for a long time, at least until our football team finishes a season in the Top-10 and the basketball team makes the Final Four. Wait a minute. . . I'm not sure I will live that long. Maybe I should start grooming my grandchildren to take over after Erik and I are gone or are resting comfortably in the home! AzWm |

I agreed to moderate the Off-Topic in his latest effort. Tell me something, Tom - what have you ever done WRT being a moderator? Please explain to Zip and me how we are "cowards" when we put it out there while you have never done anything more than whine, bitch, moan and complain? Exactly who is the "coward"? The person who takes the responsibility for offering a fan forum or the person who blows his top every time anyone questions him but doesn't have the cojones to man up and take responsibility? You've never done a damn thing on any forum other than bitch about how badly you've been treated. Hell, you offered a new thread claiming that Zip and I are "cowards" while we had to deal with idiots like you who don't seem to understand the concept of "civility". Tell ya what - grow some balls and offer your services to William as a moderator instead of just constantly whining. You claim there were no expressed rules, but that's bull$#!+ - Zip, Vince and I all offered rules - you just didn't care to follow them. You didn't get banned because there were no expressed rules. You got banned because you don't believe rules apply to you and as such, you figured you could go off your cork any farking time you felt like doing so. To tell the truth, I never complained to any mod about what you'd written because I kept hoping that sooner or later you'd grow up and figure out that trolls are nothing more than attempts to elicit a response from you. No need to take shots at each other. The purpose of this board is to enjoy sharing info, questions, news, opinions, etc. regarding SDSU in general and Aztec sports in particular. I must confess that name calling does not seem to further those goals. Maybe you should use PMs to lodge personal complaints, though I would hope that in general we should all just relax.
