The game at 4:30 has Bishop O Dowd (Kirk Morrison's high school), which has Brandon Ashley, the 6th rated player for the 2012 class. He would look good in Red and black.

Probably not. EPSN is the rights holder to this event. Due to our relations with them, I doubt this is allowable.

Well first it has to be in a contact time, off the top of my head not sure if it is a non contact time or not. I don't know of any provision that says they can't be invited to our games. I do believe they cannot receive free tickets outside of an official visit, but don't quote me on that.

I don't know if we are recruiting Black, but I do believe that Hoke is recruiting Terrance Daniels who plays on the boys team.

While not playing we are using the Hutson connection to recruit Tyrone Wallace of Bakersfield, 6'4 PG, and he can play. Class of 2012. We have in fact offred him a scholie too.

Just to toss out there we have offered Rosco Allen of Bishop Gorman, class of 2012. If we get this kid, it would be HUGE. Talk about a stud. He is class of 2012, He'll have 30 offers before his Jr year is over. We were on him WAY early too.

Also chasing a kid out of Michigan, Chris Harrison-Docks. class 2012.

We are not listed on Ashley's radar, but maybe with the success of Kawhi as a former California Player of the year, we can get more kids like Ashley.

Interview with Kevin Johnson on the Illinois Rivals site, dated today (12/15), says his top two are Illinois and SDSU. Says he's likely to re-classify to the class of 2012.

I grew up in suburban Chicago, a lifelong Illini fan, and have been to Champaign on several occasions. Quite the culture shock between SoCal and Central Illinois.

Ha, would be moderately humorous if SDSU got Johnson after so many wanted him, but then he reclassified to '12 anyway.

Either way, it's nice that he's narrowed it to two and we'd love to have him here on the Mesa.

GA is $5 for this game. Does not matter as all of the teams will be gone.

Taft is ranked #2 by the LA Times in Southern California basketball behind Long Beach Poly (apparently they don't consider San Diego as Southern California for their purposes).
