See, I don't believe in the near impossible happening ("Do you believe in miracles?" NO! Unless it happens...) So if we lose, I won't be crushed. But if we win? I will be elated! No lose scenario for me... Lucky you. I get too emotionally involved in the Aztecs and Aztec games to just shrug losses off. My wife wants me out of the house for this one I get so emotionally loud. Lucky you. I get too emotionally involved in the Aztecs and Aztec games to just shrug losses off. My wife wants me out of the house for this one I get so emotionally loud. So I'm off to AleSmith Brewing in 30 minutes with some friends. Go Aztecs! Luckily for me my wife is also a huge Aztec basketball fan. She'll be right next to me on the couch alarming the neighbors and their dogs. Wouldn't be surprised if the police show up to investigate a murder because of all the screaming.

Moneyline could be a pass. Even with the odds against them! 'Bama hasn't been spectacular of late, and the AZZZZZZtecs have been on a roll. The O/U is 137.5, so maybe the under will prevail - along with the AZZZZZZtecs. Just want the team to have a good game, feeling like they got a fair set of refs and a fair shake, and then let the chips fall where they may. Once they made the S16, they kind of met expectations. Now they can exceed those expectations. They'd better win.   |

I just left the office to have Friday afternoon beer and prep for the big game. On the drive home, I was listening to a streaming channel and a "good SDSU mojo" song came up. Not a big Pitbull fan and I don't recall ever hearing this before today:

My wife is wonderful she goes up stairs closes the door and periodically checks the scores to see how stressed I'm going to be when the game is over. She came down and gave me a big kiss. |

My wife started crying in the first 5 minutes of the game because she was already so stressed out. Then we both cried at the end of the game and also when they said it was Steve Fisher's Birthday today. We're exhausted but euphoric.

I don't think I'll get any work done today. Probably can't eat either. This has the potential to be the greatest game in SDSU basketball history. It also has the potential break all of our hearts. It's all I can think about. Let's hope for the W. Go Aztecs! I bet you feel a whole lot better now!!! |
