1-7 on the FGs and 1-6 for threes. 2-5 on FTs. That's Trammell today. At least he's out of there now. You did not even provide TO count which was maybe worse than the stats you did provide. I am not a trammel hater, but he had a bad game. He has to play better going forward. We should have won big, but late I was never in as much fear as I have been in some of our other close games, some of which we lost. He had 3 turnovers, 3 fouls and 1 assist. Bad, bad game.

Guards are going to foul a little more often and are very likely to turn the ball over more frequently than other positions. But they're supposed to score points and dish out assists. (Trammell had 1 assist, Butler had 5) Trammell is far too often on the lowest end of poor when it comes to shooting baskets.

Our team is 28-6...they won the Mountain West regular season by 2 games over three tournament teams...they then won three games straight to win the Mountain West Conference tournament...they then have won the first game of the NCAA tournament...with an opportunity to win additional games
I am so grateful for this team...for how hard they play...and for their unselfish humility and consummate team play.
I am grateful for ALL the players on our team...ALL the players, ALL the coaches, the ENTIRE support staff including our long-time play-by-play announcer, spotters, engineers, stats people, and video personnel
I am grateful that our entire starting backcourt of our 28-6 team is coming back next year to help win another championship...including the league's defensive player of the year and our 5'8" player who plays with heart and effort every time he's on the floor
I am grateful for the players who forewent an opportunity to earn a paycheck for playing the game they love to play for San Diego State one more season.
I'm not going to tell other people how to feel about this team and its players and coaches...that's a personal decision for them to make.
...but speaking for myself...thank you San Diego State basketball for giving me something to be really excited about...both present and in the future.

Someone tell me who was the last point guard at SDSU that was as bad as Trammel? I thought Pulliam was bad, dribbling mid-court for the first 20 seconds of the clock. Who wants him back next year? He can't guard at 5' 8" (I know he's "listed" at 5' 10") and he can't shoot although I bet he takes more shots per minutes played than anyone on the team, with the possible exception of Bradley who actually makes some of them. Mensah isn't much better and LeDee is much more productive. I couldn't be happier if DT were to transfer out, but he won't because no one else is going to want him. We're stuck with him eating up a scholarship. I sure hope Dutcher tells him after this season that the PG position is completely open for competition next year and doesn't do the Dutcher I'm loyal to the senior procedure. Can someone tell me who was our starting point guard the last time we won the mwc reg season, mwc tourney and a MM game?

I've said it before. In MM, guards are key and to advance you need them. Time to recruit, get some good guards in the transfer portal I really like the PG recruit we have coming in next year, BJ Davis. He’s going to be a good one!

MWC co-champs, MWCT champs, S16 (lost to Uconn the eventual champ in large part due to Franklin and the bump/flop but also because Kwahi and his mouth which was unchacteristic). 2010-2011. Great team.

Don't know, but I think it was enough to get him T'd up and in early foul trouble.

That joker Seth Davis is an Aztec hater also, but Kellogg was the worst. Seth is not an Aztec hater anymore either. He writes for the Athletic, I subscribe and read everything he writes. He has showered us with love all season, he recently said he thinks after Gonzaga that we are the top/best mid major program in the country I watched him in the selection show pick Charleston and completely dismiss the Aztecs. Kellogg was even worse, but honestly both are idiots in my opinion.

I bet yesterday was the first time most of them watched SDSU play. I think Seth was acknowledging the fact that over the past 5 years the MWC, including SDSU, has been overrated. (2019-2020 not included) Some are wising up and picking us over Furman, but most are saying Furman is better than CoC and we are in trouble.

He must've felt like an upset was coming and we were the choice du jour. Kellogg, on the other hand, is someone who looks down on us. He'll give us some praise, because he has to, but it seems as though he has zero confidence in us. Whatever.

Kellogg was vanilla as a player... and is vanilla as an analyst. Barkley was talking calmly about picking the Aztecs at half-time... and douchebag Kellogg forcefully cuts him off with... "I disagree blah blah blah". Everybody on TV wants so badly to pick a #12 seed upset... they don't even bother to do a true analysis.
