Trading punts and FGs was a bad way to end the day. And once again, fumble fingered offensive players carried the day. Not so much upset about a loss as the way they lost it. This game was fully winnable. Receiver just plain threw it away. WTF. A very fitting end to the season they had this year. We continue the SDSU theme, "We lose the un-loseable" |

The whole offensive staff needs to move on. If we go through another season of struggling offensively, we need to be loud and relentless for Wicker to fire Hoke. The season and the oh shucks we’ve seen from Hoke this year is unacceptable. We are about to join the Pac-11 and Hoke can’t coach at that level. What really sucks is that I believe that our "bright" spot, Mattix, will get poached, while Wickster and Hoke sit around with that hang-dog expression, "Wha' happened?" |

Brady Hoke doesn't deserve to lead this progam. He is at best mediocre. I hate to break the news to you, but since Wicker signed Hoke to an extension through 2027 we are stuck with him through at least 2025. Think Women's basketball |

Thanks for answering my question. You didn't watch him all year. There's no way you would say that he's been very inconsistent all year if you did, unless you have it in for Mayden, or you're absolutely cannot decipher a QB being accurate or not. You still seem to be hung up on this game only which says a lot about the fact you must have some bias against Mayden since he's been very good MOST of the year. He had a 4.2% INT ratio ALL year. That's absolutely horrendous. What was the common denominator in every game we lost once Mayden took over? He had an INT rate over 6.5%. Fresno - 8.3% AFA - 6.5% MTSU - 7.0% Too funny. Are you another poster who doesn't understand the circumstances he was up against? He was thrown in the QB position only out of need while not practicing there much at all. No real game reps and absolutely played phenomenal for someone in that position. Dang, tough crowd. Sheesh. |

There is something wrong inside this program. A perfect indicator is the running game. there is no way a team with senior backs should run 19 times for 2 yards against a mediocre team. No way! That tells me this team lacks game planning, adjustments, toughness and has zero desire to dominate the line of scrimmage. Add on the turnovers, penalties, etc, but it starts up front. It's not on the players!!! Something is wrong and it won't improve next year. Think of who is leaving....all the guys that play with passion and toughness. I have tried to figure out what happened to Hoke. He was never a great coach, but he brought such enthusiasm to this program and really kicked off our program towards being tough, physical, and playing consistent winning football. He isn't the same guy and the team doesn't seem to buy what he is selling. I have my theories, but the reality is the team is terrible with veteran players. Something is wrong. You left out the fact that this staff had 4 weeks to game plan for MTS and this is what they came up with and performed like this. *SAD stat of the game was that over 50% of SDSU rushing yards were on a fake punt (27 yards by a D-lineman)! |

Johnny Boy, I’m a season ticket holder, I don’t know if you are, but I’ve been to Every home game & watched every road game. If you think Mayden is accurate, then you truely are blind. A 4 star QB from the SEC. You probably thought Lucas & Brookshire were good also. Mayden Year stats, 12 TD & 10 INT. Calling it as I see it, you might want to get an optometry appointment before the. New year. I see, because you're a season ticket holder I should just simply yield to you. How pompous of you. Sheesh. Again, you show your lack of knowledge by only going to the interception stat for an accuracy assessment. I get it because that's all you got on him. What is his overall completion percentage while at SDSU? I believe it's some where near 65 percent. Not bad. How many dropped balls did he have this year? How many interceptions were on the receivers? You should know this since you're a a season ticket holder after all. Lol. Mayden was thrown to the wolves with a bad O'line and he performed remarkably. He must have offended you in some way for you to not think he did very well under the circumstances. Get a grip, bud. |

I feel like the coaches are fine with being good enough. Postgame,, once again, Brady said "we've got to play better football " WE KNOW THAT, EVERYONE KNOWS THAT!!!! We don't have the guys to reload and win and I don't feel like we have a staff capable of recognizing the talent we need nor the ability properly utilize the talent we have.

I think that's the main reason he's not the same guy. If we're to rise to the level we aspire to be then Wicker needs to quit wasting time. Clean house. If we're lucky enough to get invited to the Pac, who here thinks Hoke deserves the shot to be our HC there? . |

Not sure what it is, but the fire dissipated when that news broke. |
