I'm a traditional, old school guy as well. RED n BLACK is all I need n want. Although I do like n appreciate the teal unis once a year. They honor the local indigenous tribes and especially since they auction them off after. Didn't like the gold ones and don't remember why we wore them? Oh yeah....I forgot about the short lived gold uni's. That was ugly too. We should never mess with the Red & Black Uni's. These are perfection. Adding accents of Teal or Gold....yuck!

FFS folks... instead of reacting to what you *think* this means, look at the actual university website if you need. brand.sdsu.edu/identity/design-elements/color-paletteLook at the example and context of use of teal. Architectural use of teal for windows and doors in university buildings. brand.sdsu.edu/_images/design-elements/1800-teal-housing.jpgSECONDARY COLOR: TEALSDSU recognizes that turquoise holds a significant and special meaning for some Native and Indigenous communities and community members. Turquoise is also a feature in the university’s physical environment, notably on railings, wall features and and other design features. Turquoise is the men's basketball team color for the annual N7 game during Native American History Month. The inclusion of the color teal in the university’s official color palette is a reflection and a respect for the long-standing use of turquoise at SDSU.

So you're saying all of our sports teams are switching to ALL teal, ALL of the time? Full uniform, headbands, helmets, shoes, jock straps, etc, etc, etc? I'm outraged!!!

Interesting how many schools have added Black to their color scheme ?
Has there been any mention by any one who may know anything about the sports teams say the AD department for instance- that the Uniforms are going to be changed ? TEal be added
But it does give the SDSU President Haters the opportunity to make their negative comments about her .
Why ?
