Wow. Do you care to expand? No pressure. Just curious. Ryan has been outfront in the past that he is disabled. Yes, I know he is. I was just wondering if he wanted to expand on his similar experience in this case, if there was a similar experience. Maybe I misinterpreted his post.

This is a topic I know something about...and you're right. Wow. Do you care to expand? No pressure. Just curious. I mean as someone in a wheelchair since birth, this kind of abuse isn't uncommon, sadly. The man clearly represented no threat to the officer (Motorized wheelchairs aren't exactly running Ferrari engines) and he essentially murdered him. It's just abuse of the badge in a different form.

I have mucho respect for Ryan, and you as well. You two don't back down from your convictions. I try to model that.

Except for the fact that they are in MIA. Allegedly the parents left town the evening of the shooting for their safety. They contacted their attorney to negotiate a surrender, however they failed to show up for their arraignment yesterday. They were arrested today on four counts of involuntary manslaughter, bond set at 500k each, not nearly enough. If convicted they face up to 60 years each. A firing squad would save tons of money.

When Columbine happened, I watched Sue Klebold, mother of Dylan Klebold, give a TED talk on the warnings signs she missed of Dylan's behavior. There's a real lack of accountability that tends to be a common theme in these acts of violence. We turn a blind eye because it's easier to ignore than confront aggressive behavior, to brush it off as a joke. Whether it's Kip Kinkel, Dylan Klebold, Michael Carneal, Andy Williams, Jason Hoffman, Nikolas Cruz or the dozens and dozens of others, it starts at home.

Gavin Newsom Says He'll Use Texas Abortion Law As Model For Gun-Control Measure"Newsom said the Supreme Court’s decision has set a precedent that will allow states to avoid federal courts when enacting laws." "He said he has already directed his staff to work with the legislature and the attorney general to craft a bill that would allow private citizens to sue those who manufacture, distribute or sell an assault weapon or ghost gun kit." "If the most efficient way to keep these devastating weapons off our streets is to add the threat of private lawsuits, we should do just that," he wrote." www.foxnews.com/politics/gavin-newsom-texas-abortion-law-gun-control-supreme-courtBRILLIANT!!!
