its not a crime to ask for an average or even below avg passing game at the D1 level. its a shame we have a decent Defense with our 1 dimensional offense. as far as ranking.. dont think half the country knows how bad our passing game is. if they did we would never have been ranked.

We’re ranked. We are going to be 5-0. The spread was 19.5 and the score 31 to 7, and the seven was on a fumble return. We have no fans in the stands. The fans on the ‘Mesa just bitch about how we don’t win the right way. We truly don’t deserve the effort and excellence of our Aztec football team. Go Aztecs!!!!! Just WIN!!! 100% way too much negativity and pessimism, there are a lot of fanbases that would kill to have what we have and it's just non-stop complaining in this thread. Enjoy what you have in front of you (a good football team) because you'll miss it when it's gone. Oh come on! You speak as if we only know greatness on the mesa! I love that are offense is half ass and we're still dominating our opponents....give 'um hell Aztecs.....Go's to show you how important it is to win the line of scrimmage - which we're doing on both sides of the ball......go Aztecs! |

Since we only seem to be drawing 2000 fans we should’ve played at Mesa CC or USD. This is bleak No question they should have stayed in SD. In SD... at which stadium? And please describe how that stadium will provide the infrastructure required for a TV broadcast. |

prevent offense, again with 11 minutes to go. There is no excuse for this when you have soo much to work on with the QB play. Don't start with the play out the game and take the win stuff, this is happening every week and the QB play still is VERY subpar. T H I S |

#12– are you guys noticing how well he and our corners are playing? First game this year for Dallas Branch, jr out of LBCC. Hurt in August and playing tonite at a high level with a mitten to protect his injured fingers. With #9 Tayler Hawkins back after missing Towson , we appear to be back at full strength. Add #6 Andrew Alecki back as well and things look just fine for our D , which pitched a shutout tonite. Let’s celebrate that for a few days. Join me. Despite our warts , we are 5-0 for first time in a loooooog time.

Our DBs so far have been a bit of a pleasant surprise- I expected them to be pretty good because that is now the standard- but they’ve surpassed expectations. They will be tested big time in several games coming up, as the the best passing teams we will face all year lies ahead … Fresno State. Nevada - possibly next week at SJSU if Starkel is back. Will be interesting |

If they were going to use that second game, why not let him start the third quarter? At any rate, they absolutely should not have used him there at the end. Who made that stupid decision and why?? |

Either our coaches are even dumber than we think or they've already made a decision not to redshirt him this year. If they were going to redshirt him, then they'd be giving the last few snaps to Mayden as he'd be the 3rd stringer for most of conference play. If not redshirting him, it doesn't matter how many games you give him 2-3 snaps. However, I'd question the rationale in doing it. Give him meaningful minutes and see if he's already "the guy" who should be behind center now, not later. |

You said this went you were defending Horton I his last year as the e OC. Everyone is happy we won. But, the passing offense is pathetic and been like this for a long time. It a problem. You don’t grasp it. If you are happy with a bad passing offense then you accept SDSU be mediocre. |
