Was looking at current Two-deep. Noticed his name missing. Did I miss something? Is Gudino still on the team? From what I have heard, Big 69 had an Achilles injury and will miss this season. He missed the CoVid year (2020) with an hand injury, missing all eight games. He did start as a true freshman in 2017. He has not used his red shirt year, yet. So, if the CoVid year does not count, and he gets a medical for this year, I believe he has one year of eligibility left.

This is a good example of why you don't play a Freshman on the O-line, it's best to not unless he is just a can't miss high 4 star or 5 star recruit. Not many guys are ready to come into a D1 program and play on the O-line with much bigger more mature well established individuals.
The O-line in major college programs are players that are on average 6'2"-6'5" 300-330Lb's and have about 2-3 years at that size which is where an incoming freshman is really at a disadvantage not having that much experience playing with and against guys this size while also not having got use to the new size they are needing to put on and carry from now on. Some guys may have to lose some bad weight (body) but all will be putting on additional muscle that they will need to have at the D1 level.
