Two dead in New Mexico from Ivermectin overdose. www.leacountytribune.com/2021/09/23/nm-ivermectin-deaths/Ivermectin is most commonly used as a livestock dewormer, particularly for horses. It is only rarely used to treat parasitic conditions in humans. COVID-19 is not a parasite. Even with the clear science on the issue and health experts in agreement about the dangers of Ivermectin, misinformation continues to spread, particularly online. Much of the misinformation is couched in virtues of freedom and self-determination. However, this misinformation is leading people to make dangerous and life-threatening decisions. “Poison control says there has been 20 exposures to the drug this year alone, already double the amount we usually see,” said Rushton in his on-air report for KOB4. The two deaths in New Mexico may not be the last as misinformation continues to spread, but health experts and public officials are working to combat the misinformation around Ivermectin. Ironically, many who are distrustful of a vaccine proven to be effective are now turning toward unapproved and dangerous self-medication. “Don’t take something that has no data to prevent a disease where we have effective preventative therapies for this disease,” Susan Smolinske said in a TV interview. Smolinske is the director of the NM Drug & Information Center. “We have vaccines we have masks, we have social distancing. We know those things work.”

plus a few anti vax right wing radio hosts... A few and counting: * Mark Bernier, WNDB, Daytona, FL * Dick Ferrell, Newsmax * Todd Tucker, Trump radio programmer * Jimmy DeYoung Sr., Christian radio broadcaster * Phil Valentine, WTN, Nashville www.vanityfair.com/news/2021/09/anti-vax-radio-hosts-dying-covidAnti-Vax Radio Hosts Keep Dying From COVID Will the passing of on-air opponents of pandemic mitigation efforts have any effect on their audiences?
Conservative radio hosts all across America are losing their lives for the cause. In the past month alone, five talk radio personalities who were vocal COVID-19-deniers, anti-vaxxers, or anti-maskers have all died after contracting the virus. Most recently was WNDB’s Marc Bernier, a late Daytona, Florida, talk radio host who dubbed himself “Mr. Anti-Vax” in December while assuring his listeners “I’m not taking it.” True to his word, Bernier contracted COVID-19 roughly three weeks ago and his death was announced over the weekend by his radio station––which had awkwardly acknowledged his on-air “anti-vaccine” commentary just before his passing.

In trying to bring this back to the original Post - the Aztecs home games are played in the Carson Facility-
The facility has determined that fans show their Vaccination Cards to be able to attend the events- That is their decision based on their interpretation of rulings from the CDC based on what is approved by the FDA . We are going through a Pandemic and the facility/ our Medical authorities are trying to do what most Americans have wanted , try to do what is needed to slow COVID down . Try to get as many people back to work and school . Do what is needed so fans can attend games .Is it what fans wanted - to most there are inconveniences but much better then Not being able to go to games. CDC has stated they think People should get Vaccinated and wear masks in close surroundings . Can we try to work together so we can attend games -
The Covid Vaccination very similar to other Vaccinations many adults get can not totally eliminate Covid - especially when there are people who do not take the Vaccination . COVID is very something that can be passed on by even those who have been Vaccinated very easily . Also like the Flu the Strain of Covid does change . So we may need additional Vaccinations . Being Vaccinated means even if you get Covid your conditions are not as severe as people who do not get Vaccinated . Getting the Vaccinations does make it so the symptoms are not as severe - and you may not have to go to the Hospital . That helps the people who are working in Medical Facilities - they are overloaded and some have wondered why people can not see this . Medical help gets slowed down by over filled facilities . People get Flu shots every year but still can come down with the flu but we hope not as badly as if we did not get the shots . Do children need Vaccinations to start school . Children wear masks to prevent them from getting or spreading Covid . Is it fair for teachers to be told they have to teach , when some are saying they are not going to have their children mask up . Same with other people who are working every day .
Do you recall when People were asked Not to smoke at games . Sometimes we need to work together . Realize we do not live in a bubble -We are a civilized community and there are rules that need to be followed
As I have said you go have a complete thorough discussion with your DR - then get their written RX on this issue - do what she/ he say about taking the Vaccinations . But also realize that does Not mean you can just set up your own rules .
What do you think should be done to slow Covid Down . What are your solutions

U seem like a great guy & I know that u know better than anyone! All the best Sleepy! As a survivor of GBS Syndrome, I am NOT supposed to take it. Signed, Fat Ass Freddy! Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS)People who have previously had GBS may receive a COVID-19 vaccine. To date, no cases of GBS have been reported following vaccination in participants in the mRNA COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials." www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/recommendations/underlying-conditions.html#:~:text=Guillain%2DBarre%20syndrome%20(,19%20vaccine%20clinical%20trials. What to Know About Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 Vaccine and Guillain-Barré Syndrome"Doctors still recommend getting the COVID-19 vaccine Levin reiterates that the risk of developing Guillain-Barré syndrome after receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is very small, while unvaccinated people's risk of contracting COVID-19 remains enormously high — especially with variants on the rise."“The statistics are highly in favor of vaccination,” Dr. Levin says. “If 100 people have developed GBS as a result of 12.8 million people receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccination, that’s still an extremely small number when compared to the likelihood of getting a serious COVID-19 infection. If you exposed the same number of people to COVID-19, many more than 100 would develop that illness.” Most people fully recover from GBS"Though symptoms can last weeks or years, most patients recover within several months. “In general, the prognosis is very good, and we have very effective ways of treating GBS,” Dr. Levin says. “Most people make a complete recovery.”" It’s worth noting that, aside from the flu vaccine, there’s currently no conclusive association between GBS and other vaccines, though it hasn’t been ruled out, either. health.clevelandclinic.org/guillain-barre-syndrome-and-covid-vaccine/Dr. gehret my neurologist from Hoag hospital in Newport Beach suggested I DO NOT take it & he suggested the same with the swine flu vaccine. From: Gehret, David <dgehret@hs.uci.edu> Sent: Wednesday, April 7, 2021 8:12 AM To: Fred Solomon <fred@sfmdirect.com> Subject: There is a risk of the vaccine causing Guillain-Barré syndrome. If you are younger than 65 and don't have diabetes, your risk of Covid is low so I would probably avoid the vaccine. ——————————— Google is sometimes your friend & it’s ALWAYS good to double/triple check - my $0.02! And, when I took my son to get his vaccine, the nurse asked if he had ever gotten GBS? I said I had & she said I should talk to my neurologist & I told her I had & she said good. I was told it was probably not a good idea to get the vaccine & she said GBS is one of the few reasons NOT to get the vaccine. So, who knows if the doctors & nurses know what they are talking about but I would tend to listen to them > over something I read on WebMD Do your own research & make your own educated decision I guess

Ivermectin for humans is different than the one used in veterinary medicine. It is an effective human medicine for parasites. It also has anti-inflammatory and antiviral qualities. There is a reason it has been used in several medical studies for a Covid treatment. I’m not claiming it’s an effective treatment, but medical professionals believe it could be. That's rich. 4) Please stop with your gaslighting bullsh*t. You're an embarrassment to yourself, your family and your school.

If anyone comes on Aztecmesa for COVID advice, then I question their choices.
Likewise, people aren’t going to change someone’s view on medicine (nor should they) on Aztecmesa. We have doctors for that.
On any topic, Get advice from professionals, not neighbors, your smart aunt, etc! Then a second unrelated check, if it doesn’t match your feelings.

Things rapidly change in the world of novel coronavirus (not sure on the plural spelling?) as we all are discovering. From the CDC website - www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/variants/delta-variant.html?s_cid=11621:delta%20variant%20vaccine:sem.ga:p:RG:GM:gen:PTN.Grants:FY22First, a significant increase in new cases reversed what had been a steady decline since January 2021. In the days leading up to our guidance update, CDC saw a rapid and alarming rise in the COVID-19 case and hospitalization rates around the country.
In late June, the 7-day moving average of reported cases was around 12,000. On July 27, the 7-day moving average of cases reached over 60,000. This case rate looked more like the rate of cases we had seen before the vaccine was widely available. Second, new data began to emerge that the Delta variant was more infectious and was leading to increased transmissibility when compared with other variants, even in some vaccinated individuals. As a fellow Aztec fan, I hope you take the safest route possible, after further consultation with your doctor. I'm not familiar with the dangers or the side effects of GBS, but I doubt it's worse than a serious case of Covid.

Ivermectin paste and fried banana sandwiches are tasty, especially with a hydroxycloroquin spritzer … plus it keeps away the satanic magnetic people, and dries up my worms overnight. It’s magic stuff.
Ivermectin is the new windex or tussin … it cures everything.

This thread has me shaking my head…
Some of you people are so lame (especially you LTB!)! If you’re scared of living life, shelter in place and pull your sheets over your head until you’re told it’s safe enough to come out. Inject anything you want in your body. It’s your choice, right?
At some point, you’ll figure out you have to do your own research on EVERYTHING and stop listening to what you’re being told. Didn’t you learn critical thinking at State?
Until that point, Leave the rest of us the f x x x alone so we can live our lives!
Attack me all you want, but I don’t give a $#!+… my life is moving forward without fear!
