Two points:
1) Polio is WAY worse than COVID. 2) The Polio vaccine actually works, its not some coronavirus that mutates constantly where you'd need to guess on the strand and then get a vaccine that may or may not protect you from it
1) Not true. From 1950 to 1953 -- a four-year period -- there were 119k cases of polio in the U.S., with 6k deaths. In 1952, at the height of the polio epidemic, the virus caused just over 3k deaths. In January of this year, the U.S. was AVERAGING 250k cases and 4k deaths PER DAY from COVID. But, hey, thanks for playing. 2) The COVID vaccine is highly effective, but doesn't do much good if swaths of people are running around, spreading disinformation and refusing to do their part. But, hey, thanks for being part of the problem and not the solution. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_polio119k cases and 6k deaths is like a 5% death rate. That's WAY worse than COVID, just not as contagious. COVID has 42.1 million *documented* cases in the US and 674k deaths, which is 1.6%. There are way more cases that go unreported though since the majority of people get the sniffles at worst and then are fine, so that death rate is actually much lower. I would imagine the Polio numbers are more accurate than the COVID numbers too because if someone had a case of Polio they very likely needed to get treatment, so there probably weren't many undocumented cases. I would be very scared to get polio... not so much covid. "But hey, thanks for playing"
The COVID vaccine is effective against the original strain... and now as the virus naturally mutates it will become less and less effective and we'll be chasing the virus forever with "vaccines" every year and having to mask for the rest of our lives. Or we could just live with it and move on. The polio vaccine is just a shot and you're done for life. Way more effective

The Neanderthal survival of the fittest mentality, regardless of modern medicine or in this case vaccines is unbelievable.
The unvaccinated aren’t exempt from mutating and spreading the virus.
I want my freedom back and the unvaccinated are preventing that.

If you don't want to help keep people -- up to and including your family and fellow Aztecs -- stay safe, please, pretty please, with sugar on top... Stay the f*ck home. You and your friends of similar mind are killing people. Blah blah fear mongering pseudoscience. I’ll take my 7-13x more effective natural immunity, vitamin D, zinc, quercetin (as a zinc ionophore) and ivermectin for a serious case instead of an experimental treatment with 3-5 months of waining effectiveness. See you on the links. Just make sure you wear your Tinfoil hat so we know where you are sitting.

As usual those who would rather Rant and Rave about their Political point of View - and should set up their own section of RANTS and RAVES rather then include them here in this case about the Govt and Vaccination . Go to Deflecting or MIS or DIS Information . Plain and very Simple
Some thoughts
The Covid Vaccinations are trying to lessen the effects of Covid - so people may get easier to handle symptoms - and not have to over load the medical Facilities . Some who have been vaccinated simply go into self Quarantine SO The VACCINATIONS ARE WORKING . When you get a Flu shot it does Not prevent you from getting the flu it simply tries to make it less severe .Yes you can pass it on especially to those who have not gotten any vaccinations . Also when we did not get to a higher level of Vaccinations that was hoped for ( would have been helpful if more people had gotten the vaccinations ) the COVID variants expanded and we went from lower cases to now a spike again . So suggestions do get revised . The Vaccinations are being watched by Medical People/ CDC / FDA not by Politicians . Would also ask the question - Why do you prefer to call it being " JABBED " when it is a Vaccination being given at a Medical Facility by people in the Medical Field .Little doubt that it is done on purpose to stir things up or make things more negative - Similar to the 'Crooked ... or Locker her Up or John McCain as a loser .. that he was a Captured Soldier not a War Hero - First step toss out negative names or thoughts then follow with MIS or DIS information to divide people or the thought this is not about a Medical Issue it is about making some one on the other side / team look bad . Much easier to start with the catchy phrase then follow with the Mis information.
Nails - 1 you can go use anything you choose to use - even the infamous thought by a Former official " couple of shots of Clorox " that you prefer - or meds that that certain Republicans bought stock in . Although I would suggest you consult with a Reputable Dr .
2 Businesses- can stipulate certain things that they prefer their employees do during a Pandemic and regulations . Believe Most Businesses , athletic facilities ... other businesses can stipulate certain things especially during a Pandemic , . Maybe it would be helpful to the people using the facility or working in there NOT just think of your Wants . There is still and Pandemic going on believe yesterday San Diego hit over 4000 deaths related to COVID. . Plus a total of over 600,000 nation wide . Most Businesses have rules and regulations .
3 Trying to understand your selected notes on this or that from what source ? - But bottom line no one can force you to take the Vaccine but you may be asked to follow the rules set out Medically for the majority of people to try to halt this terrible medical situation . Or are number 1 and 2 your solutions to stop COVID ?
Like it or Not . We do Not live in a bubble - we live in a good sized city , CALIFORN the largest states in the United States . Where there are rules - in this case the Medical suggestions come primarily from the CDC . Unless you are advocating everyone for them selves way of life ?
DEN - you are an intelligent person who chooses to use select information to deflect issues or some may say add MISINFORMATION
AS YOU ALREADDY KNOW - People have stated numerous times - That Medical Decisions should be done with a Consultation with your Dr - so that covers 1-7
But also remember that does NOT mean that you can set up your own rules - avoid Medical Suggestions set up by the CDC that are adopted by a business . In this case People need to show Vaccination card to attend this sporting event - a decision made by the Business entity in Carson . But you already knew that . You already know that Vaccines are working - Slowing down the severity of COVID for those who take both Vaccinations . That is what is happening and those who are getting vaccinated are less likely to go to the hospital . The majority of people who are going to hospitals with sever Covid are those who are unvaccinated . COVID does have variants- so there is a need to work on the Vaccine and possibly have an additional vaccination . Earlier you stated Israel was way out in front of the world in dealing with Covid - and now they are suggesting an additional shot . The US as it gets additional information will make their suggestions believe now it is 65+ or those who have certain conditions . Yes you can choose if you want an additional Vaccination or not . Businesses also have their rights as to how they want to handle things .
You also CHOSE to repeat a RUMOR that SDSU had NIXED their application to join the BIG 12- You Admitted - It was just a RUMOR that had no way of being proven as Accurate - then repeated it . But with the note - that you just repeated it and did not start it The Rumor. Words do matter and people should me accountable for them . A bigger question WHY would you put the Rumor out there . Could it be that the only person who would have the Authority to do that is the President of SDSU . A Woman of Hispanic Heritage . You also talked about a RUMOR that the BIG 12 told SDSU NO because they did Not think SDSU had good leadership in their Administration . When asked where that RUMOR came from - No Comment . But did give your thoughts about SDSU's President
These were some very important issues about SDSU Football and Our Administration -
Is there a bigger Issue then SDSU Nixing the Application to join the Big 12 ? and the RUMOR
Most important is that in order to try to slow COVID down we need guidance from the CDC and may need to follow some suggestions that may not be popular but do need to do some things to try to prevent COVID from getting worse
Do need to work together

The Neanderthal survival of the fittest mentality, regardless of modern medicine or in this case vaccines is unbelievable. I want my freedom back and the unvaccinated are preventing that. The unvaccinated are not preventing anyone from doing anything while there are policies preventing the unvaccinated fans from attending games (starting in October for Aztecs football), keeping one's job (mandatory jab pass or being fired which happened to medical staffs at hospitals) and residence if they rent (one landlord edicts to evict unvaccinated tenants in Florida). Reminder that the Covid vaccines are still under emergency use authorization only meaning taking them is optional. The FDA approved a different vaccine comirnaty which is not available yet.

Jesus Christ, this is flat out false and easily verifiable. Cormirnaty IS the Pfizer vaccine, which is also now fully approved by the FDA (meaning no longer under EUA). Again, no wonder our country is in this mess with this kind of garbage being put out there by people who have no idea what they are talking about. See link below for those of you having trouble understanding basic facts www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/fda-approves-first-covid-19-vaccine

This is why California officially has the lowest coronavirus case rate of any state and why the recall didn’t pass.

Gaslight much? Now instead of cherry picking numbers and twisting plain facts into fanciful pretzels, let's use the standard statistics that epidemiologists rely on when they strip things down so they can compare apples to apples. And in order to achieve that, they group populations into rounds of 100,000. With that in mind, here are some deaths-per-100,000 comparisons: 310: Mississippi COVID deaths/100k 289: Louisiana COVID deaths/100k 205: U.S. COVID deaths/100k 163: U.S. heart disease deaths/100k 154: U.S. Spanish Flu deaths/100k (avg./yr: 1917-1921) 146: U.S. cancer deaths/100k 45: Southern & Mountain West states firearm deaths/100k (males only, 2019) 31: U.S. polio deaths/100k (peak year, 1952) 24: U.S. firearm deaths/100k (males only, 2019) (women are >4/100k) 17: U.S. prostate cancer deaths/100k (men only) 15: U.S. breast cancer deaths/100k (women only) 13: U.S. firearm deaths/100k (men & women) 11: U.S. auto accident deaths/100k

And medical conditions? Children which their parents want more data? People waiting for Moderna (the best vaccine) to be fully approved? Where do we cut off treatment access? Or price increases for life choices? What about obese people? Alcoholics? Maybe old people should pay more for health coverage by how much they use? What about airlines charging by the pound plus a standard seat charge? Bring your credit card and get weighed. Can we charge homeless people for the food and services that the public has to pay for them, like a debit card, that needs to pay back? Hmm maybe, maybe this is our future?
