As Junior verified, I read it right. As said in Junior's post, Doc Robert's was the one who said it and I'm assuming he talked to doctors, etc, about the time frame. Apparently, 4 weeks is the max as Junior stated as well. ?? The "floor" would be the shortest time, not the longest, and as noted in that post: "According to a 2018 research study, 52 days is the average time missed by players with injuries to metacarpals when struck by pitches." That's nearly 8 weeks, which is what AztecBill mentioned. Ok, my bad, although I did read the article correctly stating that he would be out 2 weeks. Apparently, that was Robert's who said it.

I've only seen Robert's quoted as saying at least a month: "Unfortunately though, Seager will be out at least a month, according to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts." Here's the article where he said the "floor" is a month. sports.yahoo.com/dodgers-seager-likely-few-weeks-193132493.htmlThis is definitely going to test their depth as he's arguably the most important person among their regular 8, if not the entire roster. SS is a tough hole to fill for 6-8 weeks, especially when he's your power guy from the left side. Lux isn't bad though, and their SP's are going to need to come up big. Definitely adds intrigue to the SF series. Speaking of injuries, Pillar taking 1 straight to the face was absolutely brutal to watch last night.

I'm going off of what Junior said, that it was Robert's who initially said 2 weeks. Apparently he saw it as well. I posted the 2 weeks, because I thought was a short time frame. 1 month ar least seems right.p

I wouldn't be surprised if the Dodgers try to trade for Trevor story of the Rockies. When Seager gets back they can play him at second base which has been terrible for them this season. Defensively he should not be playing shortstop anyway. I hope they don't read this.

I must have read it wrong, or it was a different article that had a typo in it of 2 weeks instead of 5 weeks.
