We still owe BC for taking Joe Rahon

He was only all ACC honorable mention, but he was on the all D team. Played the 5 at BC so seems like an odd fit unless he's looking to play the 4 and wants to develop that skillset more. A low usage limited offensive player. Entered the draft but without an agent.

We still owe BC for taking Joe Rahon I'm still not sure how BC came to San Diego and stole Jared Dudley, and why Fisher never offered.

If he can just score a little while doing some hard guarding, I'm real happy.

Interesting. We'd go from one power Mitchell to another. MWC opponents will think we grow them on trees in beach sand.

He's good do not get me wrong, but he would be a very odd fit for the roster given the need of outside shooting

So if the coaches think he has a slightly better outside shot than his stats suggest, he could be a highly effective combo forward next season.

Just watched the highlight vid... wow, This guy is really good.
Beast on the boards - including on the offensive end - we need that
Phenomenal passer
Super high motor ... and uses it.
Tons of intelligent, in control- moves inside
Overall, high IQ play all over the place.
I haven’t checked his FT % shooting. If we get him, we are stacked with diverse, pretty talented bigs.
He moves his feet so well, he can probably play some 3, in addition to 4 and some 5 in a pinch or small call line up. Given our most recent big transfer may have to sit out a year... GRAB this guy.
Then go get an athletic 3 & D wing who shoots FTs well. We will be scary scary good. I think we have a shot at being top 15 if some of our current players make improvement.
If Dutcher grabs him, he goes from killing it to CRUSHING it. Or maybe the other way around

Agreed, but it's a big jump from playing the "5" to a "combo forward". If we're looking for a "4", sure, but if the objective is a 3/4 combo that's a big leap, at least offensively.

Hence the questions.... I really doubt Dutch goes beyond 14 scholarships next year, which adding Mitchell would give us, even if 2 are targeted to RS. He's gone with 12 every other year. IMO Mitchell's plan B to another plan A, if not plan C.

He’s got mad skills IMO

He’s got mad skills IMO I don't see him at the 3 at all. I think he could play the 4, since that's how BC used their 5, but defensively I don't see him defending perimeter players. If we landed him I'd see that as a strong indication that Keshad would start/play the 3, backed by Evans with Bradley sliding over on occasion. Mitchell would probably battle Diabate & AG for the "4" with all 3 also capable of playing the 5 in an emergency (i.e. both Nate & AG out due to injuries).
