I thought that players did not have to wait anymore when they transferred? Please help! Not 2nd time transfers...yet. it's not finalized yet. There's a link in the SDUT article on LeDee leading to the story Ziegler wrote about it.

Lee is a two-time transfer, Ohio State > TCU > SDSU so he will need to sit. Unless there are unlimited waivers. IMO, Demarshay Johnson, may red-shirt as well given the build up of post players. Front court - Log Jam Nathan Mensah 6'10 220 Sr. (SDSU) Joshua Tomaic 6'9 230 GTR (Maryland) Tahirou Diabate 6'9 225 GTR (Portland) Jaedon LeDee 6'9 235 Sr. or GTR (TCU) Demarshay Johnson 6'10 215 Frosh (HS) Cade Alger 6'10 200 RS Soph - Walk On (Seattle U) Yeah Mensah/Tomaic/Diabate/Arop are the guys that will get minutes in the upcoming year. The year after, it will be Alger/Demarshay/Jaedon

Jury is still out on who'll be here in '23 but I doubt Alger is in the rotation (if he even stays this year).

Would guess that Nathan and his people really value the education - so would not be surprised if he comes back for year 5
TCU has added Emanuel Miller a very good that player

I would love to go back and see all the posts when we signed Yanni Wetzell. LOL! Lots of familiar names on this link to Yanni's signing post.
gundoaztec: "Of all grad transfers I am with you. Not a game changer, or a solid roster spot. May be a 10 & 5 guy at best if he started," hoobs: "Averaged 6 & 4 on a team that went 0 for 18 in conference play? That doesn't inspire much enthusiasm, am I missing something?"
AztecBreakdown: "I haven’t seen anything special yet in Yanni Wetzel’s data. Others are pretty high on him, so maybe the tape will show something. He’s probably not the best player the Aztecs could’ve gotten, but he fills the biggest need depending on how Arop’s injury heals."
I wish I could find my opinion at the time. I'm guessing that I would have fallen between "meh" and gundo's comment above.

Funny how it went from a thread about Yanni to a thread about trashing SDSU hoops for some.
