Pretty incredible for a mid major conference school to recruit like they do, they really have it totally rolling over there

Gonzaga, the well oiled machine. Looking forward to seeing Holmgren play. What a unique player he is.

Who made him the No. 1 recruit? He looks like he can play well, but he definitely needs to put on some weight. He looks like the Stick Man, and playing in college he will get pushed around by beefier players. What is he, 7ft. and 57 lbs.?

What Gonzaga needs is quickness, which was exploited by Baylor. Holmgren's a great get, but that doesn't solve all their issues.

Playing the PF will protect him somewhat from getting pushed around in the paint. Reminds me of Anthony Davis. He needs to be put on a nutrition plan to add some muscle.

They've been saying that about him for a while, yet all he does is drop 25, 15 & 5 against "bigger, stronger" players. He's incredible, and will more than compensate for a lack of bulk with his knowledge & skill.

It's possible every single one of Gonzaga's starting 5 will have been a top 50 recruit coming out of HS. They have size in Holmgren, Timme, Watson & Gregg, and quickness in Nembhard, Bolton, Harris, Salis & now Hickman. Guys who would start most places like Strawther & Perry could end up being overlooked. Crazy.
We'll be seeing the "Is this Few's best team ever" posts very soon, because it probably is.

Really looking forward to watching him play.

Very good and thank you sdcoug, but all this has been done against high school competition, and it may be a different story when he goes against stronger, beefier players in college. They will also be smarter in how to play him if they have had a couple years under their belts. He may do really well, but I wonder what will happen when he gets squeezed like a piece of cheese between players? It still will not hurt him to put on 30-35 lbs. will it?

He's done this against elite competition - the best of the best HS players nationally including many who are college-sized. He's reportedly already added 10 lbs. He'll be fine.
