Would not mind at all if the Aztecs would make an effort to sign 6-11 - Myles Johnson Grad transfer from Rutgers is from CA , looking for a school with a good Engineering Dept - some schools making a push to sign him Stanford , UCLA and USC

Timmy Allen still one of the Top Transfers statistically. BTW - Evan Miyakawa is a good source for player comparisons, stats, and evaluations. Miyakawa uses a statistical metric called the Bayesian Performance Rating (BPR). basketball Geekdom.

Bradley helping recruit Allen It's just insane to think we have a great chance to land 2 All-PAC12 first team transfers after how phenomenal that league showed in the tourney. Loving it.

Timmy should have a chat with JJ O'Brien. Do you think he even knows who that is? I mean it has been just a little while since JJ transferred here. 😁

I have NO idea about the answer to your question.
But, I am sure that JJ knows well about the quality of life at both institutions; and the quality of coaching @ SDSU.

Timmy's older brother is Teddy Allen... entered the transfer portal after leading Nebraska in scoring over 16 ppg.
Could there be an Allen Bros deal in the works? Timmy credits Teddy for helping develop his game.

I doubt he's going anywhere he's not playing 30+ minutes a game, and if we add both Allens that'd mean we'd have 3 guys in that mold + Trey & Nate. I think it'd stunt the growth of Keshad & others too much, and wouldn't given us a true 4 in the group. Now that you mention it I could see a package deal with them going somewhere though. I just don't think that'd work for us? I'm also not a fan of someone quitting on their team like he did at Nebraska.

Timmy credits Teddy for helping develop his game. The two spots that may need to be filled are 1) post position & 2) scoring wing w/o screwing with the current team chemistry and having younger guys consider leaving. With Trey, Bradley and Tomiac, Dutch may be done unless "the right wing" and "right post" fit in. I don’t see us loading up the bench, or over-packing the roster just because we can, unless guys would be willing to RS. In the new "no -sit" world, most guys leaving in the portal want to play and not to sit. (Unless they know that there is an opportunity) But who the f x x x knows, this is an odd year.

Don't see the need for an additional post player with Tomaic coming back. I would start Tomaic at the 4 and Mensah at the 5 with... KJ and DJ first off the bench. We need minutes for DJ as he will be the man in 22-23. Scoring wing should be our top and only priority at this point.

I'd say the same with AG, when healthy.
