The Zags have a commit from a 5* already, it sounds like he is a 1 & done. And may add 2 more 5* recruits. As crazy as this sounds, they may not be nearly as experienced next year as this year, but they could be more talented.

Nobody has said anything about Parker Fox, watch his tape. The guy has game and moves well with and without the ball, high motor guy that looks active and solid on both side of the court. He really looks like he would fit in the Aztecs style of play, he has that drive to the basket that the aztecs need. The only issue is, DOES his ability transfer to D1 ball??? he seems to pass the eye test. Parker is their top guy right now, they are fighting hard to get him. They feel like he can fill the role Yanni did, pick in roll, pick in pop and slip screen. A huge get if they can land him. Unfortunately it sounds like Fox is "wishing" Minnesota would offer, and if they do it sounds like he'd jump at the offer. He didn't even mention the Aztecs in his most recent interview.

Over 1,000 D-1 players in the portal and its only March. Can you imagine the Aztec staff and how much tape they must be watching with 2-3 open spots? Dutch has already said, that their is no 2021 HS recruiting ... aside from TyTy Washington out of Compass Prep AZ.
Dutch has also said he expects everyone back, but you never know? Hmm...

Add Noah Gurley to the list. 6'8" 210 stretch 4 from Furman. This past year he averaged 15PPG, 6RPG, and 2.5APG, some pretty significant production in what is an underrated league in the Southern Conference. Furman finished 75th in the NET rankings and 98th in KenPom.

A very efficient shooter at 58% on 2pa and 34% on threes... shot over 40% on threes as a sophomore with a lot less attempts... two years left to play...

6'5" 220 lb Cal Wing Matt Bradley is in the Portal, as you recall the Aztecs were recruiting Bradley a couple of years ago. He averaged 18 PPG and 4.6 RPG in 22 games. Bradley averaged 17.5 PPG and 4.9 RPG as a sophomore. For his career, Bradley has shot 40.4% from three-point range. Bradley was a consensus four-star recruit, with Rivals.com had him the 53rd-best player in the 2018. He committed to play at California over offers from San Diego State, Utah and Utah State, among others. Absolute stud and could be the next Matty Mitch. cal.rivals.com/news/matt-bradley-enters-transfer-portal

Considering we've been so successful with transfers in our past, the idea that we have more talent in the transfer pool than ever before is a good sign.
