Isn't it though! All the Aztecs contributed very well to this victory. Mensah,Tomaic,Arop, Pulliam,Mitchell,Schakel,Gomez,Seiko,Johnson, and others. It was a complete team victory, and they kept a strong defense on Queta and the rest of the Aggies throughout the game. Congratulations San Diego State Aztecs!!! Watching the boys celebrate, I was thinking everything these kids have gone through this season to make this happen, all the isolation and sacrifice. Covid took and continues to take kids and teams out.
But not our guys. What they did to avoid that ... incredible.
Got a little emotional for these kids ... seeing Tomaic and TGo- who never won anything. They believed and came here to do .... just this. They get rings and will those 2 banners hanging forever.
The leadership and excellence of all time greats Matt & Jordan. The subtle but critical improvement of Trey... and on and on.
Incredible incredible grit, toughness, desire, discipline ... and now the joy.
Well done is a huge understatement.
Aztec Nation is SO PROUD of EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU.
SDSU is a great and getting greater university... what you all do is as meaningful and instills school spirit and pride as anything.
Celebrate, enjoy,, rest a little ... then get ready to go get 2 more next week!!!

Nate and Joshua combined for 38 minutes and... 16 points, 12 rebounds and 2 blocked shots!
That is great production from Stan's favorite position!!!

I thought Tomaic was the hero today. He played great D, ate up some fouls for Mensah, and hit some nice shots.
