Why not? It is a brand new stadium, and if I were there I sure would want to go see the game and the new stadium. It would be a blast I believe.

So does the state of Nevada. Restrictions are being eased a bit.

Perhaps a road trip to Vegas or even Reno if we play there. Is the schedule even out yet?

So is UNLV long longer playing at Sam Boyd? They had one non-conference game (La Tech) still scheduled in the Dust Bowl, but that game was canceled.

I wonder what'll happen to Sam (Dustbowl) Boyd going forward? Was it being used for anything else? Perhaps they could feature a way-off-Broadway production of 'Oklahoma!' in the parking lot.

That new stadium looks like a giant Roomba vacuum. But it's very nice and cool inside.

Congrat's to UNLV and U of Nevada/Reno if in fact that fans will be allowed to go into the home stadiums. I have a question for the MWC and how fair is it for the teams from Nevada (or other approved states) to allow their fans, while teams in California will not allow fans. Curious if the MWC has asked this or kicked it around? Again, curious any thoughts?

Curious if the MWC has asked this or kicked it around? Again, curious any thoughts? One factor to keep in mind is whether they already have protocols in place within the stadium. UNLV can more easily adapt to the social distancing factor because they already do so for the Raiders games within that stadium. In theory, if Cali ever eases restrictions, I believe JD said our pro soccer stadium already has those in place as well, but on-campus stadiums around the conference may not. To your point, the debate is whether having 5k fans in a 25-30k stadium provides an extra home field advantage that a SDSU, CSU, etc. may not provide, but home field is more about a) traveling/out of normal routine, and b) noise so loud you can't hear your QB audibles, etc. I doubt the latter happens in a partially populated stadium, and (a) happens no matter what. Personally, I don't think it'll be a factor at all. I doubt a USU or UNLV or UNR would have any more of a home field advantage with partial fans than we would in an empty stadium. Other than the advantage of revenue, obviously.

Bummer that we don’t play at UNLV this year. I would have loved to go to a game.

You want to attend games in California..., then put pressure on you GOV? There is a petition out now to recall him.

Wear a face mask to the game. keeping about 6 feet of distance between yourself and the seats of other people.

That's the Pitts due to the fact that every state has their own Governor and of course uses/abuses his power as he sees fit. Most of the Blue State Gov's. probably have not allowed athletic games to take place because they think that by keeping people apart will help stop the Virus. And, life is never fair.
