California reportedly has now said they are committed to expanding the definition of "cohorts" to a workable number so there will be no obstacles to holding football practices. Should be the final hurdle for the P12 & MWC to resume. Hopefully we see football practices starting no later than Monday, if not over the weekend. Wait...I thought Newsom said that there was nothing stopping the PAC 12 from playing. Apparently, there was. Newsome. 'rollseyes'

Newsome apparently thought you could have practices with just position groups, and/or 11 on 0 drills. Didn't consider that 11 on 11 or 7 on 7 is a key component of practices. Probably not a football guy. Good to see it get worked out. Colorado apparently still has a hurdle to overcome (banned 18-24-year-olds gathering), but they were apparently prepared for this & have a workaround, whatever that might be. Really shouldn't be anything holding back the conference other than the fear of litigation, but if other conferences are OK with it they should as well.

The US Marine Corps has a saying, “adapt and overcome.”
Like I said, hopefully Coach Hoke has prepared for this contingency and the team’s O-Linemen are up to fighting weight ready to push the MW DL’s around.
