I love it in California. If you want to leave though I wish you the best in your travels. Totally understand why you love California. If you are someone who I use to work with, like I think you are, you told me in the past how you loved to read books on the old west. Well, where we live it is smack dab in the heart of the old west. We live about 40 minutes away from the Dragoon mountains where Cochise lived, and about and hour from the Chiricahua mountains where Geronimo lived. We are also about 40 minutes away from the town of Tombstone. The actual grave site of Johnny Ringo is also nearby....all of those who liked the movies of Tombstone and Wyatt Earp will be disappointed to find out that Doc Holliday did not kill Johnny Ringo, but Johnny Ringo actually committed suicide. That kind of ruined my opinion of those movies when I found out the truth. Anyway, I understand why you love California, but people who are interested in the old west would enjoy Arizona also. As for me, my money just goes farther here. "I'll be your huckleberry."

Didn't mean to sound flippant in my comment. I am sincere. If people either can't or don't want to stay in California I really do wish them well wherever their travels make take them There is no malice in my heart.

I never thought your comments were flippant. If you are who I think you are, I remembered when you and I talked about the old west when we were working together. You told me how you enjoyed reading books on the old west. Honesty, every time we go to one of these historic landmarks in Arizona I remembered the time you told me you enjoyed reading about the old west. Your comments were sincere and not flippant so don’t worry about that. As for me, California just became too expensive once I retired so I had to move on. If I had to move on, what better place than the old west where Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, Johnny Ringo, Geronimo, and Cochise hung out!
